Version 3.5 of Wuthering Waves, “Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns,” went live on July 10, 2026, opening the Mengzhou region and a fresh set of limited convenes. Two brand-new 5-star Resonators anchor the patch, and a large rerun banner sits alongside them. With wishes always in short supply, the real question is where your currency goes first.
Quick answer: Pull Yangyang: Xuanling in Phase 1 as a hypercarry Havoc DPS, then pull Suisui in Phase 2 as a support and healer. For weapons, prioritize each unit’s signature (Azure Oath for Xuanling, Firstlight’s Herald for Suisui); grab Stringmaster from the Starpath Reverbs rerun only if you want a universal Rectifier.
Version 3.5 banner schedule and featured units
The patch splits into two phases, each with one new debut and reruns. A separate rerun banner, the Starpath Reverbs convene, runs across the whole version and lets you wish for several older Resonators at once.
| Phase | Dates | Featured 5-stars |
|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | Jul 10 – Jul 31, 2026 | Yangyang: Xuanling (new), Lynae (rerun), Luuk Herssen (rerun) |
| Phase 2 | Jul 31 – Aug 21, 2026 | Suisui (new), Aemeath (rerun) |
| Starpath Reverbs | Whole version | Jiyan, Yinlin, Jinhsi, Changli, Zhezhi, Xiangli Yao |
New units usually bring mechanics that current teams cannot replicate, and they tend to stay relevant against future enemies longer than rerun characters. If you are choosing between a debut and a returning favorite, lean toward the debut.

Add to Google Preferences →Yangyang: Xuanling, the Phase 1 hypercarry
Yangyang: Xuanling is a 5-star Havoc Sword main DPS built entirely around Heavy Attack damage and Havoc Bane. She swaps between an Azure Sword Stance and a Feather Sword Stance, building Melody through Basic Attacks and cashing it into powerful hits that all count as Heavy Attack damage.
When Melody runs out, casting Sword Stance Flow switches her stance, refills Melody, and grants a point of Azure Plume. At max Azure Plume, she unleashes a Heavy Attack tied to her current stance. The Azure Sword version grants Bated Breath for a 160% Crit DMG boost on that hit, while the Feather Sword version grants Streaming Storm, boosting the Crit DMG of her next several attacks by 160%.
Her damage scales with Havoc Bane stacks on the target, and her Inherent Skill amplifies output by up to 30% at 1–3 stacks and up to 36% at 4–6 stacks. She can apply Havoc Bane herself through Basic Attacks, her Intro Skill, and her Resonance Liberation, but she gains extra value when a teammate also applies it. Her Outro Skill, As the Wind Wills, hands the whole team a 20% Havoc DMG amplification for 20 seconds the next time they inflict Havoc Bane. With solid crit stats and enough field time, she can clear almost anything.
Suisui, the Phase 2 healer and buffer
Suisui is a 5-star Glacio Rectifier who fills the support and healer slot. She rotates between a Zephyr Stance and a Drizzle Stance, applying Glacio Chafe, healing over time, and stacking team-wide damage amplification. Her HP-scaling healing keeps a party alive while her buffs push their damage higher.
Her standout tool is her Resonance Liberation, Song of Thoroughfare, which deploys the Ceaseless Landscape domain for 30 seconds. Inside it, the whole team’s Negative Status stack limits on enemies increase, covering Spectro Frazzle, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, Aero Erosion, and Electro Flare. For Havoc Bane teams, consuming Havoc Bane also grants Havoc DMG a 6% DEF ignore and 12% Havoc RES ignore. Her Outro Skill always gives the incoming Resonator 25% All DMG Amplification for 30 seconds, one of the longest universal buffs in the game.

Note: Suisui leans heavily on Energy Regen. The target for full performance is 260%, and her buffs weaken sharply below 200%. Build her Echoes around Energy Regen first, then HP% and Healing Bonus. Because she slots into so many Negative Status teams, she is arguably the single most impactful pull of the version.
Which weapon to pull in 3.5
The weapon convenes feature the signature options for the featured Resonators. As a rule, do not pull a signature weapon unless you are taking the character it was built for. If you have leftover resources and want a flexible pull, the Starpath side offers one broadly useful option.
| Weapon | Type | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Azure Oath | Sword | Yangyang: Xuanling’s signature; 588 Base ATK, 24.3% Crit Rate, boosts Heavy Attack DMG and DEF ignore after Havoc Bane |
| Firstlight’s Herald | Rectifier | Suisui’s signature; 413 Base ATK, 77% Energy Regen, +12% Max HP and a team ATK buff |
| Stringmaster | Rectifier | Universal Rectifier from the rerun; 35.9% Crit Rate with an attack-boosting passive |
Firstlight’s Herald is Suisui’s best-in-slot and becomes available on July 30, 2026 alongside her Phase 2 banner. Its 77% Energy Regen substat alone helps her reach the 260% target with far fewer Echo rolls, and it restores Concerto Energy while handing nearby allies an ATK buff. If you plan to main her, it is the highest-value single investment you can make.
If you skip Firstlight’s Herald, several Rectifiers work as substitutes because they share the same priority stat. Stellar Symphony matches its 77% Energy Regen if you already own it, while the 4-star Variation and Call of the Abyss both offer 51.8% Energy Regen as solid free-to-play picks.
Starpath Reverbs reruns worth considering
The Reverb convene brings back six proven Resonators together, each with their signature weapon on the paired Tideforge banner. This is the place to fill roster gaps rather than chase raw newness.
| Resonator | Element | Signature weapon |
|---|---|---|
| Jiyan | Aero | Verdant Summit |
| Yinlin | Electro | Stringmaster |
| Jinhsi | Spectro | Ages of Harvest |
| Changli | Fusion | Blazing Brilliance |
| Zhezhi | Glacio | Rime-Draped Sprouts |
| Xiangli Yao | Electro | Verity’s Handle |
If your account already has a stable DPS core, the Reverbs mostly serve as insurance and dupe hunting. If you are still building teams, they are a strong chance to secure a marquee carry like Jinhsi or a rectifier user like Yinlin alongside their weapons.
The short version: stays the same across every scenario. Take Yangyang: Xuanling if you want a strong solo carry, and take Suisui if you want a flexible support that slots into most modern teams. Pull their signatures only when you commit to the character, and let the Starpath Reverbs fill whatever your roster is still missing.
