The Webb gala in 007 First Light kicks off Chapter 11, Uninvited, right after an assassin shows up at Bond's safehouse in London. The museum hosting the gala has its doors barred, and security won't let anyone in without an invite. Bond doesn't have one, so the only way through is to lift a golden invitation off a guest who does.
Steal the golden invitation to enter the Webb gala
Step 1: Bring up your watch to activate the visual overlay. It highlights attendees who are carrying golden envelopes on them. Those marked guests are the only valid targets for the invitation.
Step 2: Set off a distraction close to your chosen target. Throwing an object, triggering noise, or using a gadget like the Dart Phone will pull the guest and nearby guards away from their spot. Act fast, because the window after the distraction is short.
Step 3: Move in on the guest with the golden envelope while they're distracted and use the pickpocket prompt to take the invitation. Once it's yours, you'll receive the Keycard for VIP Entrance.
Step 4: Walk up to the barred entrance and use the stolen invitation. Security steps aside, the doors open, and you can proceed into the gala to begin tracking the assassin.
How to confirm it worked
You'll know the theft succeeded when the Keycard for VIP Entrance lands in your inventory right after the pickpocket. At the door, the objective updates from entering the gala to Find the assassin once security lets you through. From there, follow the objective marker into the gala room.
Common mistakes that block entry
Trying to pickpocket without a distraction is the usual reason this fails. Approach a guest too directly and nearby guards will catch you in the act. The same goes for hesitating after a distraction. The opening closes quickly, so reach the target and grab the envelope before guards return to position.
Pickpocketing is the most reliable route, though bluffing and gate-crashing are alternative ways to get inside. Once you're past the doors, the assassin's signal leads you onward, and you can grab the Concert Poster collectible tucked in the back right corner of the cafe inside the gala.
