Quests and rewards — opens August 21
The next event, shown in-game as the quests update, opens August 21 at 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT, 6:00 PM UTC, 7:00 PM BST) and runs until 6:00 AM ET on August 30. It’s built around working through a set of quests to unlock progressively better rewards. With about 140,000 players already marking interest, it’s the most-anticipated item currently on the calendar — though its turnout still trails the World 4 map drop that preceded it.
World 4 — ended August 20
The marquee drop of the past week was World 4, a new secret world that opened August 19 at 12:00 PM ET and closed exactly 24 hours later on August 20. It added ten new cutters, two new auras, seventeen new loot items, and fifteen new relics. It pulled the largest crowd of any recent event — interest climbed past 450,000 — a reminder that the map expansions move this game’s audience far more than smaller patches do.
Relics — ran August 14–17
A few days earlier, the Relics event added collectible relics you can craft and equip for stat bonuses. It ran from August 14 at 3:00 PM ET through August 17 and drew close to 360,000 interested players, the second-strongest turnout of the recent stretch.
New World and the quality-of-life patch — early August
Earlier in the month, a crystal-themed New World arrived on August 7 and stayed open until August 10, bundling ten cutters, two auras, and seventeen loot items; it drew close to 39,000 interested players. A brief quality-of-life update followed on August 10 — a roughly 20-minute optimization-and-bug-fix push — and, as maintenance patches usually do, it barely registered on the interest count.
