Speed decides everything in +1 Speed Keyboard Escape, the incremental walking game from SecretVerse Studio. Every step adds speed, and a higher speed level lets you enter tougher stages, outrun the chasing bosses, and unlock rebirths. The fastest progress comes from stacking multipliers, not from walking more. Here are the systems that move you up the quickest, in the order you should tackle them.
Quick answer: Claim the free Medal Aura for an early multiplier, push rebirths as soon as you hit each level requirement, buy the cheapest trails and auras first, then AFK on the Chocolate treadmill to farm speed. Save the two 15,000-speed freebies until after Rebirth 2 so a rebirth reset does not erase them.
How speed and Wins work in +1 Speed Keyboard Escape
Each step gives +1 speed by default, and hitting speed milestones raises your level. A higher level is what gates the harder stages and the next rebirth. Multipliers change how much speed each step is worth, so your goal is to stack as many of them as possible.
Wins are the main currency. You earn them from the yellow pads at the end of each cleared stage, and nearly every upgrade below is paid for with Wins. Farming a short, safe stage on repeat (Stage 6 is a reliable choice) is the easiest way to bank them early.

Add to Google Preferences →Claim the Medal Aura for a free multiplier
The Medal Quest hands you the exclusive Medal Aura, which adds a permanent speed multiplier so every step is worth more than +1. It is the strongest free boost for a fresh account, so set it up before you grind anything else.

Prioritize rebirths for permanent multipliers
Rebirths are the biggest long-term gain in the game. Each one resets your current speed level back to zero but locks in a permanent multiplier that applies to every future step. To rebirth, reach the required level, open the Rebirth menu on the right side of the screen, and press the red button.

The first two rebirths come fast from walking the floor buttons, running stages, or using the free Chocolate treadmill. Multipliers stay modest until around Rebirth 10, then climb into the thousands and far beyond. Do every rebirth the moment you qualify.
| Rebirth | Level needed | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 15 | x1.5 |
| 2 | 25 | x2 |
| 3 | 40 | x2.5 |
| 4 | 60 | x3 |
| 5 | 75 | x3.5 |
| 6 | 100 | x4 |
| 7 | 125 | x5 |
| 8 | 150 | x6 |
| 9 | 175 | x7.5 |
| 10 | 200 | x10 |
| 11 | 225 | x100 |
| 12 | 260 | x1K |
| 13 | 300 | x10K |
| 14 | 340 | x100K |
| 15 | 380 | x1M |
| 16 | 420 | x10M |
| 17 | 465 | x100M |
| 18 | 510 | x1B |
| 19 | 560 | x10B |
| 20 (Max) | 600 | x100B |
Buy trails and auras to stack extra multipliers
Trails and auras add their own multipliers on top of your rebirth bonus, and they are bought with Wins from the inventory menu. You can equip one trail and one aura at the same time, so always run the best of each rather than two trails. Start with the Green Trail, then work down the list as your Wins grow.

| Item | Wins cost |
|---|---|
| Green Trail | 500 |
| Blue Trail | 1,500 |
| Purple Trail | 5K |
| Red Trail | 25K |
| Rainbow Trail | 100K |
| Glow Aura | 1M |
| Wind Aura | 5M |
| Cosmic Trail | 5M |
| Water Aura | 10M |
| Fire Aura | 25M |
| Void Trail | 50M |
| Supernova Trail | 500M |
| Godlike Trail | 1B |
Note: shop cosmetics like the Muffin Hat and Candy Crown raise raw movement speed to help you fly through obbies, but they do not add to your level progression, so they are not a substitute for trails and auras.
Farm speed AFK with treadmills
Treadmills keep your character running automatically while you stand still, which is the cleanest way to bank speed while away from the keyboard. Once you have a few multipliers from rebirths, trails, and auras, the treadmill becomes the fastest route to the higher rebirth levels needed for World One and World Two.

| Treadmill | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Chocolate (free) | x1 |
| Diamond | x9 |
| Admin | x100 |
Gold and Candy treadmills also exist behind Robux, but the free Chocolate treadmill is enough to start. For an added burst, grab the free 10-minute 2x speed boost from the shop icon on the left of the screen after watching a 30-second ad, and time it with a treadmill run for the most value.
Step up the digit buttons early
The giant numbered buttons sit opposite the treadmills at spawn. Standing on a higher button increases the speed you gain per step, which is the simplest upgrade for beginners with no gear yet. Because your per-step speed is low at this stage, clear Stage 6 on repeat to bank Wins and unlock stronger buttons faster.

| Button | Wins needed | Speed per step |
|---|---|---|
| Base | 0 | +1 |
| +2 | 3 | +2 |
| +3 | 15 | +3 |
| +25 | 100 | +25 |
| +50 | 500 | +50 |
| +100 | 2,500 | +100 |
| +250 | 15,000 | +250 |
| +500 | 50,000 | +500 |
Free gift and social code for 15,000 speed each
Two separate rewards each grant 15,000 flat speed, and both take under a minute. Because they give flat speed rather than a multiplier, a rebirth wipes them out. Claim both after Rebirth 2 so the bonus carries weight and is not reset away.

Mistakes that slow your speed gains
- Spending Wins on teleports to skip a stage. That drains currency you need for trails and auras.
- Buying an expensive trail before completing your early rebirths.
- Rushing into World Two too soon instead of building your multipliers in World One first.
- Claiming the free gift or social code before Rebirth 2, since the reset erases that flat speed.
Put it together in order and the climb gets short. Activate the Medal Aura, rebirth the instant each level requirement is met, equip your best trail and aura, then leave the Chocolate treadmill running while you farm Wins through repeated stage clears. Hold your two flat-speed freebies until after a couple of rebirths, and your speed will compound fast enough to clear both worlds.
