+1 Speed Monkey Escape: All 9 Sunken Shard Locations

Where every Sunken Shard sits from the lobby to Stage 9, plus the fixes for the ones that keep resetting you.

Where every Sunken Shard sits from the lobby to Stage 9, plus the fixes for the ones that keep resetting you.

Nine Sunken Shards are hidden across +1 Speed Monkey Escape, spread from the starting lobby to the flooded platforms of Stage 9. Collect all of them and the game grants a free x2 Speed Treadmill, which doubles the speed you build while training and makes every later run faster.

Quick answer: Grab two shards in the main lobby, one each on Stages 2, 3, 4, and 6, two on Stage 7, and the last on Stage 9. Touching the ninth shard unlocks the x2 Speed Treadmill.

Two Sunken Shards in the main lobby

The first shard sits behind the Top Robux leaderboard on the left as soon as you spawn. Walk around the back of that structure, and it waits in the corner.

The second one needs the tall vertical jump booster on the left side of the lobby. Build up some speed, ride the booster up to the ledge above, and check the corner there for the shard.

Stage 2, 3, and 4 Sunken Shards

On Stage 2, move to the center of the stage and look at the small pillar on the left. The shard sits at the bottom, so dive off and collect it as you fall. You die on the way down, but the shard still counts.

Stage 3 hides its shard behind a large wooden block on the right side at the far end. You need enough speed to climb over the right booster and drop down on the other side to reach it.

Stage 4 keeps its shard up high. Use the vertical boosters at the start to jump onto the top of the stage, then head left and follow the path to the end, just before Stage 5 begins.

Stage 6 and the two Stage 7 Sunken Shards

Stage 6 uses floating platforms over water with swimming sharks below. Jump forward to the first central platform, then immediately jump again to the second. Walk to the edge of that second platform, and the shard sits just below it, behind the middle cube.

Stage 7 opens into a grassy, canyon-style area holding two shards near the end. Head toward the three green platforms and check the central one for the seventh shard. The eighth sits on a small ledge to the side of the last platform, right next to it, so drop down to grab it.

The final Sunken Shard on Stage 9

The last shard is on Stage 9. Jump across to the third central platform while dodging the Tsunami waves rushing toward you. Once you land, the shard sits in the right-side corner of that platform.

How to confirm the x2 Speed Treadmill unlocked

Touching the ninth shard completes the set, and the x2 Speed Treadmill becomes available for training. That is the signal the run is done. If you are still short after visiting every location, a few things usually explain it.

  • Falling into the lava on Stage 4 sends you back to Stage 1, so you must run through the earlier stages again before retrying.
  • The shards behind the Stage 3 wooden block and on top of Stage 4 need high speed to clear the boosters, so train more before attempting them.
  • The shards on Stage 2 and Stage 6 sit below platform edges, so you have to dive off to reach them rather than staying on the path.

Work through the areas in order, keep your speed high for the booster jumps, and you can collect all nine shards and claim the x2 Speed Treadmill in a single trip across the map.
