13 Days to Escape event
13 Days to Escape New Prison: Schedule, Start Times & Next Countdown
New Prison is the weekly event that keeps 13 Days to Escape feeling new: each run hands players a brand-new prison to study, plan around, and break out of. RoDark Studios’ breakout game already pulls a sizeable crowd — about 30,000 players are inside right now — and a steady run of fresh prisons is a big part of why people keep coming back.
New Prison isn’t a one-off. It returns on a regular weekly rhythm, landing every Saturday afternoon, so there’s always a fresh layout to crack within days of the last one. The next run is set for Saturday, November 14 at 3 PM ET, and the exact start time plus the usual windows are on the card below.

How often New Prison runs
New Prison runs on a weekly schedule — a new prison arrives every Saturday, roughly seven days apart. It has gone live 2 times so far, and the developer keeps it to the same Saturday-afternoon slot each week.
There are two start windows, opening back to back in the mid-afternoon:
- Saturday, 3:00 PM ET
- Saturday, 3:05 PM ET
Those times are in US Eastern. Because 13 Days to Escape draws players all over the world, it helps to know when that Saturday-afternoon start lands in your region. The 3:00 PM ET opening converts to:
- US Eastern: 3:00 PM (Saturday)
- US Pacific: 12:00 PM (Saturday)
- UK: 8:00 PM (Saturday)
- Central Europe: 9:00 PM (Saturday)
- India: 1:30 AM (Sunday)
- Japan: 5:00 AM (Sunday)
- Australia (AEDT): 7:00 AM (Sunday)
What happens in New Prison
Each New Prison run swaps in a completely new facility to escape. The core of 13 Days to Escape stays the same — you scout the layout, gather what you need, and time a breakout before the countdown ends — but the map, routes, and obstacles are all new, so the plan that worked last week won’t carry over.
- A new prison layout to learn from scratch, with its own exits and hazards.
- Fresh escape routes to work out before your days run down.
- A clean slate for solo and group attempts, so returning players start level with newcomers.
Tips for catching New Prison
- Pick whichever window suits you — both Saturday slots open within five minutes of each other, so either one gets you in near launch.
- If a Saturday-afternoon ET start is awkward where you are, use the regional list above to find the real local hour before you commit.
- Set a reminder for a few minutes before 3:00 PM ET; the opening rush is the easiest time to find a full lobby.
- Missed it? There’s no need to scramble — a new prison comes around again the following Saturday.
