The Car Garage is the one place in Storage Hunters: Open World where you can reshape how your vehicle looks and behaves cosmetically. Paint, wheels, spoilers, exhausts, trailers, number plates, and horns all run through this service area. Simple color changes are paid for with Diamonds, while physical parts are bought with Cash after you win them at auction.

Where the Car Garage is and what it does
The Car Garage is a dedicated service area located close to the Shipyard. It handles vehicle customization only, so it is separate from the Trailer Shop, which sells the trailers themselves. Inside, you can repaint sections of your car, change wheel styles and colors, fit spoilers and exhausts, swap full wheel sets, customize an attached trailer, make a custom number plate, and equip different horns.
Two currencies are in play. Diamonds cover paint, wheel color, wheel type, trailer color, number plates, and horns. Cash buys the physical parts you bring in from auctions. The distinction matters because paint changes are always available for a small Diamond fee, while parts require you to first win them elsewhere.

How car parts work
Installing a car part costs nothing. The catch is that you must own the part before the garage will fit it. Parts do not appear on a shop menu here; they come out of auctions held at the Back Alley, the Shipyard, and the Cargo Ship. Once a spoiler, exhaust, or wheel set is in your possession, bring it to the Car Garage and attach it with no extra fee.
The Cash prices listed below are the amounts you pay to obtain each part through the auction system. Cheaper parts are entry-level cosmetics, while the high-end pieces run into six figures.
