Highlight Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on your PS5 home screen and check that hotfix v1.005.001 has downloaded. Most consoles pull it automatically when the game is closed.

An earlier update also brought Peter’s suit from Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls into the game. That outfit already matched its source material, so it did not need a follow-up fix the way the Fresh Start Suit did.

With the suit now looking as intended, this is likely one of the final touches on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as Insomniac shifts focus to Marvel’s Wolverine, which arrives September 15, 2026, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
