Every Boss in 100 Days at Sea: Spawn Steps and Rewards

How to trigger all seven bosses, where each one appears, and the exact loot they drop.

How to trigger all seven bosses, where each one appears, and the exact loot they drop.

Bosses are the hardest fights in 100 Days at Sea, and each one gates a reward you cannot get anywhere else. Most do not appear on their own. You unlock them by finishing a puzzle, clearing a region, or surviving a raid. Below is exactly how every boss spawns, where it shows up, and what it hands over when it falls.

Quick answer: Summon the Ancient Squid, Yeti, Magma Boss, and Ghost Pirate Captain by completing their region objectives; the Kraken raids your base after Day 5, Snorflord waits on Treasure Island, and The Corrupter spawns once you finish the Corruption Dungeon puzzles.

Bosses you summon by clearing a region

Four bosses only appear after you finish a set task in their zone. None of them can be skipped, so you need the region objective done before the fight starts.

Ancient Squid

The Ancient Squid is an optional late-game fight tied to the Golden Tablet puzzle. Visit the different islands, collect every Golden Tablet, and place them all at the main Squid Island. Once the last tablet goes down, the island vanishes and the Ancient Squid takes its place. Keep your distance and fight it with a Rifle or Ray Gun. Defeating it awards the Squid Laser Gun, a Corruption Shard, the Ancient Squid Class, and a +1 Day Count Multiplier.

Yeti

The Yeti guards the Ice Biome. To make it appear, find all 20 Lost Penguins scattered across the ice and return every one of them to the Penguin Mother. The fight itself is one of the easier ones. Stay back and use ranged weapons, or take it on with a Laser Sword if you have Diamond Armor. It drops the Ice Staff, five Pearls, and a +1 Day Count Multiplier.

Yeti
Carry Bandages, Medkits, and Chowder before starting the Yeti fight.

Magma Boss

The Magma Boss lives in the Fire Biome. Defeat the three Magma Golems, carry their bodies to the Volcano, and throw each one inside. The boss spawns right away and starts sending out Magma Snails that explode when you get close. Damage it from range and take out the snails before they reach you, since they hit hard and can drain your health fast. Winning gives you the Magma Staff and a +1 Day Count Multiplier.

Ghost Pirate Captain

The Ghost Pirate Captain is the final fight of the Pirate Stronghold. First collect all three Pirate Keys and unlock the stronghold, then clear out every Ghost Pirate inside. Once they are gone, the Captain appears. It is one of the easiest bosses in the game and can even be beaten with a melee weapon, though a Rifle or Revolver makes it much faster. Rewards include the Ghost Cutlass, five Pearls, a +1 Day Count Multiplier, and the Ghost Galleon Bell, which you use to summon the Ghost Galleon.

Bosses you can fight more than once

Two bosses are repeatable, so you can farm their drops across a run instead of clearing them a single time.

Kraken

The Kraken comes to you. It shows up during Night Raids once you pass Day 5 and attacks your base, stealing your structures if you leave it alive. Because it raids repeatedly, you can beat it again and again for loot. With the right weapons it is a quick kill. Each defeat drops 5x Jar of Goo and a Corruption Shard.

Kraken
Keep Medkits ready when you take on the Kraken in a group.

The Corrupter

The Corrupter is the toughest boss in the game and should be saved for the end-game. Complete every Corruption Dungeon puzzle to spawn it. For your first kill you need the Ray Gun or the Boomstick, along with Diamond Armor at minimum. After that first win you can use the Void Slicer for repeat runs, since The Corrupter can be re-summoned and beaten as many times as you want. Rewards are the Corruption Portal crafting recipe, the Void Slicer, and a +1 Day Count Multiplier.

Snorflord on Treasure Island

Snorflord is not a combat gate like the others. It sits captured on Treasure Island, and you meet it simply by discovering that island. Freeing it hands over Meat and a Pizza Oven for your base.

Exclusive weapons only bosses drop

Several bosses are the only source for their signature weapon. If you want any of these, the fight is the only way to get it.

What to bring before a boss fight

Every boss becomes easier with the same core setup. Ranged weapons let you deal damage while staying out of range, strong armor keeps you alive through big hits, and a full stock of healing items covers mistakes.

  • Ranged weapons: a Rifle, Revolver, or Ray Gun handles most fights safely.
  • High-tier armor: aim for Diamond Armor before the Yeti, Magma Boss, or The Corrupter.
  • Healing: carry Bandages, Medkits, and Chowder, and bring extra Medkits for co-op runs.

The Ghost Pirate Captain is usually the best first target once you are geared, since it is forgiving even with melee. Save The Corrupter for last, when you have a Ray Gun or Boomstick and Diamond Armor ready. You can jump into 100 Days at Sea on its Roblox game page to start chasing these fights.
