Update 5 added a dedicated Trade World to Throw a Coin, giving players a place to swap rare items instead of relying on the fountain for every missing entry. Reaching it moves you to a separate sub-server built only for trading, so you can find the exact items your index still needs and negotiate for them directly.
Quick answer: Collect 80% of the “Base” items in your index, then use the portal on any island to teleport into the Trade World. There is no Cash cost, and you can trade as many times per day as you want.

How to unlock the Trade World
Unlike the other worlds, the Trade World is not locked behind a Cash payment. The teleport button appears in the portal once you have filled 80% of the Base index, meaning the versions of items that have no size differences or mutations attached.
Reaching that threshold takes time. Because every item comes from a random fountain roll, you have to keep throwing and pulling new entries until your Base collection hits 80%. Higher Luck helps you get there faster, but there is no shortcut around the RNG.

Teleporting in places you on a sub-server filled only with other players who are there to trade. This separates you from people grinding the fountain, so it is much easier to find veteran collectors who hold the items you are missing. Trade invites are sent by walking up to another player’s avatar and interacting with it.
The main use is filling gaps in your index. Once inside, tell other players what you are hunting for, then offer items from your own inventory in exchange for the ones they have.
How item values scale in trades
Value depends heavily on an item’s size and whether it has been mutated. Bigger sizes and mutations carry more weight, so they are the strongest bargaining chips when you want something rare in return.
| Item type | Relative trade value |
|---|---|
| Base | Lowest value |
| Big | Slightly higher payout |
| Huge | Highest size-based value |
| Mutation Machine mutated | Exceptionally high value |
Items mutated through the Mutation Machine sell for far more than their standard versions, which makes them excellent for pulling in objects that are not yet in your index.

How to make a trade
Getting mutated items through trading
You can obtain Rainbow- and Divine-mutated items by trading, not just by running duplicates through the Mutation Machine yourself. If another player holds a mutated variant you want, a strong offer of Huge or mutated items can secure it. There is no daily cap on how many trades you make, so you can keep dealing until your index is complete.
