Experience Abstraction, the social horror game on Roblox built by Pawlo’s Studio, hides a set of map glitches, secret animations, and player traps that get repeated as rumors. Most of them behave in predictable ways once you know the exact condition that triggers each one. Here is the plain result for ten of the most-discussed tricks, along with what the developer has confirmed about a future exit-door change.
Quick answer: Six of the ten tricks reproduce reliably (room abstraction animation, pillar map glitch, rooftop access, room invincibility to Caine, rainbow exit door, outside-the-map abstraction, trapping players, and forced abstraction). The second-floor “unique falling cutscene” is false. You can verify each one live in the current build, Experience Abstraction on Roblox.
Every myth and its verdict
The table below groups each claim with what actually happens in-game. Treat “Confirmed” as reproducible under the stated condition and “Busted” as false.
| Myth | What it claims | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Room abstraction | Abstracting inside another player’s room changes the grab animation | Confirmed — a different hand grabs you |
| Map glitch | Climbing the central lobby pillar in first person sends you outside the map | Confirmed |
| Rooftop access | From outside the map you can stand on the tops of player rooms | Confirmed |
| High-floor abstraction | Abstracting from the second floor plays a unique falling cutscene | Busted — cutscene is identical to the standard one |
| Room invincibility | Abstractions near the upper rooms cannot be hit by Caine | Confirmed |
| Rainbow exit door | Standing by the lobby rainbow while losing sanity spawns the exit door | Confirmed |
| Outside abstraction | You can abstract while standing under the bridge outside the map | Confirmed |
| Cellar swim | You can jump onto the water at the edge of the cellar boundary | Attempted at the map edge |
| Trapping players | Luring a player into a room and locking the door traps them | Confirmed |
| Forced abstraction | Turning off the lights in a locked room forces the trapped player to abstract | Confirmed |
How to glitch outside the map
The out-of-bounds trick is the base for two other secrets on this list, so start here.

You know it worked when your character is standing above the room ceilings instead of being blocked by them. The bridge area outside the map is also where the outside-abstraction trick works, so you can drain sanity there and still transform.
Room abstraction and the changed grab animation

Abstraction normally plays a set grab cutscene when your sanity hits zero. If you trigger it while standing inside another player’s room, a different hand appears and grabs your character instead of the usual one. The change is cosmetic, but it is consistent enough to confirm the myth.

The related claim about height does not hold up. Abstracting from the second floor plays the same cutscene as any other spot, with no special falling sequence.
Spawning the rainbow exit door
The exit door is tied to the lobby’s rainbow structure. Stand close to the rainbow and let your sanity drop. As it falls, the exit door appears near that spot. This is the same door the developer plans to expand in a future update.

Note: abstractions positioned near the upper rooms are immune to Caine’s attacks, which is worth knowing if you are staging any of these tricks during a Caine event.
Trapping a player and forcing abstraction
Two of the confirmed tricks work together against another player, using the game’s own darkness and isolation rules.

You can confirm the trap when the player can no longer open the door, and confirm the forced abstraction when their character transforms after the lights go out.
The leaked office update
A message from game owner Paulo addresses the exit door directly. When asked about making an occasional exit door lead into an office before sending the player back to the lobby, the reply confirmed that offices will be added but that no timing was set. Paulo’s wording was that the offices “will be added but im not sure when yet.”

The in-game upcoming list also points to bigger additions beyond the office, including an aquarium showing the most-abstracted players, entering an abstracted person’s mind to save them through a cutscene, Caine taking players on draining adventures, and an extended customization section. No release date is currently confirmed for any of these.
These results reflect build v2026.08.07-b1463. Glitches that rely on collision and lighting tend to break after updates, so recheck the pillar climb and forced-abstraction tricks in a live server if a newer version has gone out since you last played.
