A complete rundown of Kamala Khan’s elastic moveset, her 50- and 100-gauge finishers, and how to control space without an air dash.

Ms. Marvel plays as a space-control fighter in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, using her stretching limbs to hit from ranges most melee characters cannot reach. As part of the Amazing Guardians, Kamala Khan pokes at mid-screen, drags opponents around the stage, and closes rounds with two heavy-hitting skills. Her one real weakness is mobility, since she has no aerial dash, which changes how you approach the neutral game.

Quick answer: Poke with Zoom Knuckle and Karate Chop! from mid-screen, sweep under high projectiles with Jersey Lariat, and lean on Elasti-Grab to move in the air. Cancel specials into Growing Pains (50 gauge) as an anti-air, and save Embiggen! (100 gauge) to close out a round.

Ms. Marvel’s role and range

Kamala’s strength is reach. Her elastic normals let her strike from distances where opponents cannot immediately respond, so your job is to control the mid-screen and force the other player to walk into your buttons. She can also chase enemies down when needed and has extra defensive tools built into her Unique moves, which is part of why she lands among the more beginner-friendly picks on the roster.

She carries a surprise command throw as well, which gives her a mix-up option when an opponent starts blocking too much up close. Combined with her long normals, that mix of poking and grabbing keeps defenders guessing between blocking high, blocking low, and watching for the throw.

Full moveset and inputs

Ms. Marvel’s kit splits into Unique actions, regular special skills, and her two meter-based finishers. Skills can be performed with traditional command inputs or with the simplified Quick Skill (QS) button. Command inputs deal slightly more damage and build more Skill Gauge, while Quick Skills trade that reward for a single-button press.

Growing Pains (50-gauge Super Skill)

Growing Pains is Kamala’s main 50-gauge finisher and her anti-air punish. She dramatically expands her hands and torso to deliver a wide sweeping strike, and the move has fast startup with huge vertical and horizontal hitboxes.

That reach makes it ideal for two situations. Use it to tag opponents out of the air when they jump, or cancel into it from a special such as Rubber Band or Jersey Lariat to extend a combo into damage. Once you get comfortable with the timing, it becomes a reliable way to manage tough exchanges.

Embiggen! (100-gauge Ultimate Skill)

Embiggen! is Kamala’s cinematic Ultimate. She grows to giant proportions and unloads a multi-hitting barrage of stomps and fist slams that deals heavy damage and can shatter an opponent’s basic armor.

Hold this move for a full-gauge payoff, either to end a round or to punish an attack from across the stage. Because it reads your directional input on startup, you can angle it to catch airborne enemies trying to retreat. Note that as her Tōkon Assemble attack, the two-handed clap version only becomes available in the final round when you could lose, so plan around it.

How to play Ms. Marvel and control the neutral game

Success with Kamala comes from using her range to dictate the pace. Keep opponents at the distance where your stretching normals win and their attacks fall short, then convert whenever they try to force their way in.

Here's how to properly utilize the character of Ms
Controlling space with Ms. Marvel (Arc System Works)
Poke from mid-screen with Zoom Knuckle and Karate Chop! to establish your range and pressure opponents who cannot reach you.
Mix in Jersey Lariat to change your trajectory and slide under high projectiles, keeping the opponent unsure of where your next hit lands.
When you land a poke or a special, cancel into Growing Pains for a quick damage confirm, or into Embiggen! when you have the meter to close things out.

Moving without an air dash

Ms. Marvel cannot perform an aerial dash, so the usual air-mobility routes other fighters rely on are simply not available to her. Instead of fighting that limitation, build your movement around it.

Elasti-Grab is the answer. Use it often to latch onto surfaces or adjust your air trajectory on the fly, which lets you reposition, drop to the ground faster, or pull away from danger. It is also baked into her assist attacks, so swapping to Ms. Marvel after a clean setup feels smooth. Treat Elasti-Grab as your primary tool for getting around, and her lack of an air dash stops being a problem.

Put it together and Kamala rewards patient, range-focused play. Win the neutral with her long normals, punish jumps with Growing Pains, and keep Embiggen! in reserve for the moment a round is on the line.
