Survive Zombie Arena Glitches: How the Tundra Shelter and Fence Fling Spots Work

The exact class, gear, and weapons that let you clip into walls and reach safe AFK spots on Tundra, Atlantis, and Rooftop Siege.

The exact class, gear, and weapons that let you clip into walls and reach safe AFK spots on Tundra, Atlantis, and Rooftop Siege.

Map glitches in Survive Zombie Arena all rely on the same idea. You push your character into geometry the zombies cannot path into, then let a drone or turret clear the waves while you stay out of reach. The most reliable setups right now run on the Tundra, Atlantis, and Rooftop Siege maps, and most of them lean on the Bastion class and the Shelter gear item.

Quick answer: Equip the Bastion class, farm 1,000 minerals in the early waves to buy a Shelter, then place that Shelter against a wall or ledge to clip inside it. For the fling version, equip the Blood Scythe, Blood Staff, or Void Scythe, stand on a wooden fence, and swing to launch yourself onto the map’s invisible barriers.

What you need before starting

Every glitch here shares a short list of requirements. The Bastion class is the recommended pick because its autonomous Drones and Laser Turrets keep killing zombies while you sit still. The Shelter is the key gear item for the clipping spots, and it costs 1,000 minerals, so you have to survive the opening waves normally before you can set anything up.

RequirementPurpose
Bastion classProvides Drones and Laser Turrets for hands-off wave clearing
Shelter gear (1,000 minerals)Placed against walls or ledges to clip inside geometry
Blood Scythe, Blood Staff, or Void ScytheMelee swing on fences that flings you upward
Shift Lock enabledNeeded for edge-hug drops on some spots

You can launch the game and set up a solo match from the Survive Zombie Arena Roblox page. Tundra runs fine on Normal difficulty for practice, though higher difficulties reward more Void Shards and Credits if you can hold the spot.

Tundra Shelter wall clip

This is the core Tundra glitch. Placing a Shelter directly against or inside certain stone walls lets you slip into the hollow space behind them, where ground zombies can no longer touch you.

Start a solo Tundra match with the Bastion class equipped and play the opening waves normally. Kill zombies and collect minerals until you can afford the 1,000-mineral Shelter.

Walk up to a stone wall and place the Shelter directly against it, pushing your character into the corner as it deploys. The goal is to have the Shelter’s collision force you into the wall’s geometry.
Once you pop inside, deploy your Drones and let them fire on the horde outside. You are safe as long as you stay in the pocket.

Fence fling glitch (Blood Scythe, Blood Staff, Void Scythe)

The fling glitch is how you reach the high spots that a Shelter alone cannot. The swing animation of certain melee weapons launches your character upward when you attack while standing on a wooden fence.

Equip the Blood Scythe, Blood Staff, or Void Scythe before the match. Any of the three produces the launch.
Find a wooden fence on the map and walk onto the top of it. Position matters, so line yourself up over the fence rail rather than beside it.
Swing the weapon. The attack flings you high into the air, and with the right angle you land on the invisible collision barriers that sit above the play area.

Cabin window AFK spot on Tundra

The cabin gives you the easiest safe perch on Tundra. A Shelter placed next to the cabin wall becomes a step you can jump onto, putting you on the window sill above the zombies’ reach.

Buy a Shelter and place it flush against the cabin’s exterior wall, right below a window.
Jump from the Shelter onto the window sill and stay put. Ground-based zombies cannot climb up to you.
Send out your Drone to attack the crowd below while you hold the sill. This is the spot to use if you want a low-effort AFK farm rather than a full out-of-bounds clip.

Invisible barrier and high wall walk

Tundra was built with invisible barriers above the map specifically to make glitching harder. The fling glitch is how you get around them, since it can drop you onto those barriers to stand and walk high over the arena.

There is also a rock-wall variant. Place a Shelter near a snowy rock wall, jump on top of it, and use that height to reach a higher ledge. From there you can walk along an invisible boundary ledge before you eventually slip off and fall back down. It works, but it is the least stable of the Tundra spots because the ledge is narrow and easy to fall from.

Atlantis and Rooftop Siege spots

The same principles carry over to the other maps, with a few spot-specific tricks. Here is how the main non-Tundra glitches compare.

SpotMapWhat it does
Staircase clipAtlantisBastion Shelter pushes you inside the staircase geometry for full invincibility
Pipe ledge dropAtlantisJump off the high platform onto a narrow ledge; zombies idle above and cannot drop down
Void Scythe wall clipRooftop SiegeAttack the gray brick wall behind the helipad to fall into the hollow area under the map
Sandbag clipRooftop SiegeWalk into the curved sandbag wall; collision keeps zombies out while you shoot
Cliff edge / walkway ledgeRooftop SiegeDrop onto a narrow exterior ledge below the bridge to confuse zombie pathing

On Atlantis, hug the wall on the upper walkway with Shift Lock on and jump off the edge to land near the green containment tube. The zombies pile onto the platform above you and stay there. On Rooftop Siege, standing on the small ledge corner next to the staircase produces the same effect, with zombies walking up the stairs and idling instead of attacking.

How to tell it worked

A glitch has landed when zombies stop reaching you and start bunching up on the wall, ledge, or platform between you and them. On the clip spots your character model sits inside the geometry, and your health bar stops dropping. From there, your Drones, Laser Turrets, or an upward-firing weapon like World Ender do the work while you hold position.

One catch on the under-map Rooftop Siege clip. You only earn Credits for zombies you actually kill, so if a spot skips waves without kills, you gain wave progress but far fewer Credits. The Bastion Shelter spots keep zombies dying in front of you, which is why they are the better choice for Credit farming.

Why a glitch fails to trigger

Most failures come down to placement and patches. If you cannot clip in, the wall or ledge geometry has likely been adjusted, since the developers monitor these spots and change collision regularly. The Atlantis pipe ledge in particular is hard to land and may already be partly patched, so expect a few attempts before it holds.

  • The Shelter was not pushed tight enough into the corner, so it never forced you through.
  • You swung the fling weapon while standing beside the fence instead of on top of the rail.
  • You moved after settling into an AI-confusion spot, which makes the zombies path toward you again.
  • The spot has been patched in a recent update and the collision no longer lets you through.

These are treated as map bugs rather than bannable behavior, but they are patched often. If a spot suddenly stops working, it usually means the map got an update, and it is worth checking whether the geometry moved before you keep retrying the same corner.
