Before you start: unlock and clear East Town
The whole questline lives inside the new Dragon Ball story map, East Town, which functions as a Story, Infinite, and Mastery map. You need this map available and cleared before the Prodigy quests will progress. In the map menu, East Town should read Completion Progress 100% once you have finished it.
Open the map and select the Quest option on East Town. This surfaces the two new Quest NPC lines, shown as the West City quest and The Scholar’s Trial. These are the tasks that lead to Secret Gohan. You can start them once East Town is unlocked in Anime Expeditions on Roblox.

How to confirm Secret Gohan unlocked
Once you win Prodigy’s Unit Trial, the last quest flips to complete and Secret Gohan, listed as Prodigy (Rage), is added to your units. The clearest sign is the unit itself appearing in your roster after the Trial finishes. Each preceding quest also shows a filled progress bar, such as 1/1, so if any of those still read 0/1 the chain is not done.
Why the questline stalls
Most people get stuck on the same handful of objectives. Check these before assuming the quest is bugged.
- The evolution and 150-wave quests need Evolved Goku and Evolved Cell specifically, not any random unit, so evolve both first.
- The Mechanical Scraps count is 350, and they come from the East Town Expedition rather than the Story map.
- The Expedition Boss Node quest only counts on Difficulty 3 (three purple stars); lower difficulties do not register.
- East Town has to be cleared to 100% before the Quest NPC line opens the Prodigy objectives.
