Floor 50 of the Trait Tower in Anime Expeditions is the stage that hands you Cubert, the exclusive tower unit. Many players assume you need a unit carrying the Unbound trait to survive Fairy King Forest, but the wave can be cleared with strong Mythic, Legendary, and Epic units instead. What matters most is trait quality on your carry, correct gear, and where you drop each unit along the track.
Quick answer: Run Cursed Student (True Love), Elf Mage (Unleashed), Bioinsect (Final Form), Salmon Sorcerer (Grade 1), Roman Guy, and Stone Alchemist. Reroll Bioinsect (Final Form) to the Forsaken trait, gear your carries with Shinigami Swords and Magic Books, place units deep along the path so fast enemies stay in range, and defeat the final boss Excellence to receive Cubert.

Add to Google Preferences →Gear each carry before entering
Gear is applied in the loadout menu before the run. The goal is to push critical stats and magical damage onto your top three damage dealers.
| Unit | Gear |
|---|---|
| Cursed Student (True Love) | Shinigami Sword |
| Elf Mage (Unleashed) | Magic Book + Shinigami Sword |
| Bioinsect (Final Form) | Magic Book + Shinigami Sword |
The Shinigami Sword adds +6.4% Critical Chance and +13.6% Damage along with its own passive, while the Magic Book adds +18.1% Magical Damage Dealt. Those two pieces stack cleanly on magic-leaning carries like Elf Mage and Bioinsect.
Reroll Bioinsect (Final Form) to the Forsaken trait
Your carry needs a Mythic trait that boosts critical output. Forsaken is the target because it stacks +35% Critical Damage, +35% Critical Chance, and +10% Range, which pairs directly with the crit-heavy gear above. Head to the Trait reroll station in the Evolve area and reroll until Forsaken lands. Each reroll consumes one Trait Crystal, so bank enough before you start.
Skip Draconic on Bioinsect even though it is a Mythic trait. Its main strength is +50% damage over time, and Bioinsect (Final Form) does not deal damage over time, so most of that bonus is wasted. The trait odds and pity thresholds are worth knowing before you commit crystals.
| Trait | Roll chance | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Forsaken | 0.3% (500 pity) | +35% Crit DMG, +35% Crit Chance, +10% Range |
| Draconic | 0.5% (300 pity) | +20% DMG, +50% DoT, -10% Unit Cost |
| Unbound | 0.1% (1,500 pity) | +350% DMG, -5% SPA, +10% Range |
Note: You can hold the Reroll button to auto reroll and set Filters so it stops when Forsaken appears. Each reroll fully replaces the current trait, so there is no way to lock a good roll mid-process.

Clear the stage: placement order
Load into Floor 50 (Fairy King Forest) from the Trait Tower. You can launch the game from the official Anime Expeditions experience on Roblox if you are not already in a session.

Why runs fail here
The most common wipe comes from placing units too close to the enemy spawn point. Fairy King Forest sends fast enemies, and units bunched near the start only get a short window to fire before mobs leak past. Pulling your placements back down the path gives every unit more time in range and more chances to upgrade between waves. If your first attempt struggles against the early speed, restart and reposition deeper before committing to a full clear.
Rewards and how to confirm the clear
You know the stage is done when Excellence dies and the reward screen appears. Completing Floor 50 grants the following.
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Cubert (tower unit) | x1 |
| Equipment Reroll | +25 |
| Trait Crystal | +10 |
| Gold | +2,500 |
| Gem | +25 |
Back in the lobby, open your inventory to confirm Cubert is now in your roster. If it appears there, the clear registered correctly.

Cubert passives and abilities
Cubert is a Hydro and Magical unit built around summoning Cubert Cubes that attach to other units and scale off their damage.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Link Passive: Cubes | Every 10 seconds, gain 1 ability charge (capacity 2). Cubert Cubes deal 35% of the unit’s current damage per attack. |
| Link Passive: Cube Link | Attached Cubes grant +5% Damage and +3% Range. Bonuses stack indefinitely while Cubes are within range of each other. |
| Unit Passive: Cube Overload | Each Cube tracks a Cubert Meter starting at 0, rising by 1 on the attached unit’s regular attack. At 3 stacks, the Cube explodes, stuns, and deals 150% of the unit’s current damage. |
| Unit Active: Cube Summon | Select another unit on the map to summon a Cube and reduce the Cubert Meter by 1. Limit of 2 Cubes per unit and 6 Cubes active globally. |
With Forsaken on Bioinsect, correct gear on your three carries, and placements set deep enough to keep the fast Fairy King Forest waves in range, Floor 50 is a repeatable clear that leaves Unbound entirely out of the equation.
