Nvidia’s Arm-based RTX Spark platform has moved another step toward store shelves. Two fresh Geekbench listings tied to the N1X processor give the clearest picture yet of how the company’s power-efficient gaming chip performs, and they line up with a launch that is still planned for later in 2026.

Quick answer: The 20-core RTX Spark N1X scored 2,593 single-core and 23,424 multi-core in Geekbench, landing just under Intel’s i9-14900KS (23,785), and Nvidia’s Windows 11 laptops built on the chip are still expected to ship in fall 2026.

Two entries appeared on the Geekbench results page for the RTX Spark N1X, covering both a 20-core and an 18-core configuration. The 20-core version is the headline number. Its multi-core result sits within a fraction of Intel’s flagship desktop consumer chip when both are run through the same benchmark, which is a strong signal for CPU-heavy work on an Arm design aimed at laptops.

These are not the first N1X results to surface. Earlier runs on an HP test system returned 3,096 single-core and 18,837 multi-core in Geekbench 6, with the chip identified as a 20-core, 2.81 GHz Arm processor paired with 128GB of memory. Those early samples used unoptimized software and were clearly prototypes.


What the RTX Spark N1X is

The N1X is Nvidia’s Arm-based chip for Windows laptops and mini PCs, co-developed with MediaTek. It pairs a 20-core Arm CPU with a Blackwell-generation GPU, and the graphics side carries 6,144 CUDA cores, the same shader count found in the desktop RTX 5070. The design targets gaming, content creation, and local AI work, while the lower power draw of Arm hardware helps stretch battery life.

Nvidia has not yet shown gaming benchmarks for the Blackwell GPU inside the platform, so the full picture for frame rates is still incomplete. The CPU numbers, combined with confirmed DLSS 4.5 support, point to a chip built to compete for serious performance rather than just efficiency.


Launch window and laptop makers

RTX Spark-equipped laptops and compact PCs are set to arrive in fall 2026, and the new Geekbench listings suggest that timeline remains on track. Nvidia first unveiled the platform at Computex in Taiwan, and the chip family builds on the company’s history with Arm gaming silicon, including the custom processor inside the Nintendo Switch.

Several manufacturers have already been named as launch partners, including ASUS, MSI, and Microsoft Surface, with more expected. Every device runs Windows 11 from the start.


Game compatibility on Windows on Arm

Moving from x86 to Arm raises an obvious question for gamers: will your library actually run? Nvidia is working to make the N1X compatible with common anti-cheat and DRM software, which is the piece that most often blocks online titles on Arm hardware. The goal is for all Windows games to play on these machines.

Qualcomm currently dominates the Arm-powered Windows PC space, so the N1X gives that segment a second serious contender with Nvidia’s GPU stack behind it. The competitive picture will sharpen once independent gaming benchmarks and finalized drivers land closer to release, but the platform is now clearly near the finish line rather than a distant rumor.
