Frostfairy Flower is a Snezhnaya local specialty in Genshin Impact, and it is the plant you need to ascend Odette, the region’s first new sword user. The flowers grow in bunches out in the snowy open world and are easy to spot, but they do not appear everywhere. You will not find any in Sretomorozsk, the first safe area you reach. They only show up deeper into the region.

Since only 74 flowers exist in your own world at a time, you cannot finish Odette in a single sitting. You will need several harvests, or a trip into a friend’s world for extras.

Set up before you farm: unlock Alyosha and waypoints
Alyosha is a free 4-star unit whose passive shows nearby Snezhnaya specialties on the mini-map. That single change turns the routes below into simple pickup runs. Progress through the “Everwinter Without Mercy” Archon Quest past the prologue and you will receive a copy of Alyosha for free.
Before running the routes, unlock as many teleport waypoints as you can and every available Statue of the Seven in Snezhnaya. Most routes start from a waypoint, so having them open makes the whole loop much quicker. Keep Alyosha in your party the entire time.
Frostfairy Flower farming routes in Snezhnaya
Route 1: Tidesong Cavern
Start from Sretomorozsk and head toward the waypoint beside the rail track. When you arrive, take a left and look for the entrance to Tidesong Cavern. If you already have its waypoint, you can teleport straight to Tidesong Cavern and find the entrance from there instead.
Route 2: Svetloledovka
Teleport to any of the three waypoints near Svetloledovka, then make for the small peak in the middle of the glacial area. The flowers cluster around that rise, and Alyosha’s markers will guide you to each bunch.
Route 3: South of Central Station
Teleport to the waypoint on the tracks south of the main Central Station, then head west along the map. The flowers sit east of the railway line, a short walk from the drop-in point.
Route 4: Snezhnograd city
The main city holds one of the densest pockets of flowers. Teleport to any of the three waypoints between the Statue of the Seven, Central Station, and the Snezhnograd market area, then sweep the streets. Alyosha’s passive is especially useful here, since the flowers are scattered among the buildings.
Route 5: Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge
Look to the top-right corner of the map at Pilgrimage to the Sacred Gorge. Teleport to the Statue of the Seven or any surrounding waypoint, then follow the flower icons Alyosha places on the mini-map.
Route 6: Sanctuary of Grief
Go to the top of the map, north of the main Snezhnograd city, to the Sanctuary of Grief. Teleport in if you have the waypoint unlocked and collect the flowers marked across the area to close out the loop.
Respawn time and topping up your total
Once you clear all 74 flowers from the open world, they respawn in the same spots after 24 hours in real time. Because a single harvest falls well short of the 168 needed for full ascension, plan on repeating the routes over several days.
To speed things along, join another Traveler’s world in Co-op and pick their flowers too, which lets you gather beyond your own world’s daily supply. Between your own respawns and a friend’s world, you can comfortably stockpile enough Frostfairy Flowers before Odette’s ascension caps demand the larger batches.
