Cubert is an Exclusive-rarity unit added in Update 1.0 of Anime Expeditions. It carries the Hydro and Magical typings and works as a support that links to an ally, feeding that ally bonus Damage and Range while its cubes chip away at enemy waves. There is no summon banner for it, so pulling Gems will not help.
Quick answer: Reach and defeat Floor 50 of the Tower (either the Trait or the Traitless sub-mode), then open your unit collection to confirm Cubert has been added.
How to get Cubert from Tower Floor 50
Cubert is a fixed reward for clearing Floor 50 of the Tower game mode. The Tower is aimed at endgame squads and pits your units against enemies that carry resistances and modifiers, so this is a progression milestone rather than a luck-based drop. It splits into two sub-modes, and finishing Floor 50 in either one grants the unit.

| Sub-mode | Trait buffs | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Trait | Kept | Units retain stat buffs from rolled Traits, so a lineup with Primordial or Unbound Traits can push through the 15 waves per floor. |
| Traitless | Removed | Trait stat buffs are stripped, making floors harder to clear with the same roster. |
Each floor you finish awards a progression point toward Season Rewards, with prizes handed out at tiers 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50. Cubert sits at the very top of that track, so the earlier tiers pay out other rewards but not the unit itself.
How you know it worked: After the Floor 50 clear, check the Tower rewards screen and your unit collection. If Cubert appears in your roster, the milestone registered. If it is missing, you have not defeated Floor 50 yet — clearing lower floors only advances Season Rewards and will not grant the unit.
Because the run gets steadily tougher, build around a small core of dependable damage dealers before you attempt the deeper floors instead of over-investing in units that only handle the opening waves.

Cubert passives and ability
Cubert works through Cubert Cubes that attach to a chosen ally. The cubes buff that ally, deal a share of Cubert’s own damage, and eventually detonate to stun enemies. The active ability spends a resource called the Cubert Meter to place each cube.

| Name | Type | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Cube Summon | Ability | Select another unit on the map to summon a Cubert Cube and decrease the Cubert Meter by 1. Limited to 2 active cubes per unit and 6 active cubes globally, with a per-unit cooldown. |
| Cube Overload | Passive | Each Cube starts with a Cubert Meter of 0. The attached unit’s regular attack adds 1 to the meter, and at 3 stacks the Cube explodes, applying stun and dealing 15% of Cubert’s current damage. |
| Cubes | Passive | Cubert gains 1 ability charge every 10 seconds up to a cap of 2. Each Cube deals 35% of Cubert’s current damage per attack. |
| Cube Link | Passive | Attached Cubes raise the ally’s Damage by 5% and Range by 3%. These bonuses stack additively when Cubes sit within range of each other. |
The practical result is a support that scales with the ally it links to. Placing cubes on a high-damage carry increases that carry’s output through Cube Link, while the cubes themselves add damage and periodic stuns from Cube Overload.
Improving Cubert without an evolution
Cubert has no evolution, so you never need to farm materials or clear a Trial to power it up. Instead, you raise its ceiling through the standard unit-tuning systems.
| Method | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stat Rerolls | Roll for at least the SSS grade across the unit’s stats to lift its attributes. |
| Stat Transfers | Move stat potentials from your strongest units onto Cubert. |
| Trait Rerolls | Aim for the Primordial or Unbound Trait to maximize its stats. |
| Equipment | Fit gear pieces, which strongly shape a unit’s overall potential. |

Stat Transfers cost a lot of Gold, so keep clearing stages across the different modes to build up currency before you commit. That steady income makes it easier to fund transfers without draining resources you need elsewhere.
With its cube-based buffs and stuns, Cubert rewards a team already built around one or two strong carries. Reach Floor 50, add it to your roster, then link its cubes to your main damage dealer to get the most out of the Cube Link and Cube Overload passives.
