Helldivers 2: Every Title and How to Unlock It (Level 300 Cap)

All 15 new level-based ranks from the 300 cap, plus every Warbond title and how to earn each one.

All 15 new level-based ranks from the 300 cap, plus every Warbond title and how to earn each one.

The Devoid of Liberty (7.0.0) update pushes the Helldivers 2 level ceiling to 300, adding 15 fresh ranks on top of the existing progression. Combined with the titles tied to Warbonds and the Super Citizen Edition, there are now more than 56 titles you can attach to your name. Every rank below level 25 unlocks the gear you actually need, so these titles are purely for bragging rights.

Quick answer: Level-based titles unlock automatically the moment you hit each level requirement. Warbond titles unlock the instant you purchase the matching Warbond with Super Credits and claim the title node with Medals. Equip any unlocked title from the Armory on your ship.

How level-based titles unlock

You earn XP by finishing mission objectives, completing Personal Orders, and killing enemies. Each title unlocks the moment your account reaches the required level. Nothing else is gated behind rank past the early game, so leveling toward 300 is a long-haul cosmetic grind rather than a power climb.

If you were already at level 150 and kept playing, your extra XP was banked the whole time. When the new cap goes live, the game recalculates your total XP against the new level table and jumps you to the matching level immediately after you log in. Players who put in heavy hours may find themselves near or at level 300 the moment they sign in.

Note: Reaching level 300 is intended to take roughly twice as long as reaching 150 did. The original cap was 50, tripled to 150 in April 2024, and now doubled to 300.

Every rank title and its level requirement

Titles unlock every five levels up to level 50, then every ten levels from level 60 onward. Here is the full ladder from Cadet to Rank 300.

Warbond and Super Citizen titles

These titles have nothing to do with XP. Each one comes from a specific Warbond, which you buy with Super Credits, the premium currency you can farm in-game for free or purchase. Warbonds never expire, so you can grind Super Credits at your own pace, unlock the Warbond, then spend Medals to reach the title node on its pages. The Super Citizen title is the exception, tied to owning the Super Citizen Edition.

How to equip a title

Titles can only be changed aboard your Super Destroyer. They are purely cosmetic and appear in the bottom-left corner beneath your name, visible to other players in your squad.

Return to your ship and walk up to the Armory to open the character customization screen.
Open the Character tab and select Title at the bottom to see every title you have unlocked so far.
Choose the title you want and press Equip. It updates immediately, so you can confirm it worked by checking the tag under your name.

If a title you expect is missing from the list, the usual reason is that you haven’t yet met its exact level requirement, or you own the Warbond but haven’t spent Medals to claim the title node on its pages. Warbond titles do not appear from ownership alone, you have to unlock the specific title reward inside the Warbond.
