Dispatch: Which Mecha Man Contains the Bomb in Comically Yours

Pick Mecha Man Prime, then send Invisigal to clear the call with no skill check at all.

Pick Mecha Man Prime, then send Invisigal to clear the call with no skill check at all.

Comically Yours is a call during the first shift of Dispatch Episode 4, where Jerry from Comic Pug reports a batch of Mecha Man replicas after a wave of bomb threats hits town. Once your hero clears the shop, the game shows three toy figures and asks which one is rigged.

Quick answer: The bomb is inside Mecha Man Prime. Pick it, then if Invisigal is the hero on the call, choose her line “It can’t hit what it can’t see” to finish instantly with no dice roll.

The correct Mecha Man is Mecha Man Prime

When the shop is cleared, three figures appear and you get one guess. Only one holds the explosive, and choosing it starts the sequence to shut the bomb down. A wrong pick has no penalty. The game simply loops you back so you can choose again, so there is no risk if you blank on the answer mid-shift.

Send Invisigal to skip the skill check

After you select Mecha Man Prime, the bomb buzzes around the store as a mini-bot. If Invisigal is the hero assigned to the call, she unlocks a dialogue option that no other hero gets: “It can’t hit what it can’t see.” Choose that line and the call resolves on the spot, with no stat gate and nothing to fail.

The line exists because invisibility is her whole thing, so a flying mini-bot cannot lock onto her. That is why bringing Invisigal is the cleanest way to close out Comically Yours.

The skill check without Invisigal

Send anyone other than Invisigal and the free pass disappears. Instead you get two ways to stop the mini-bot, and they split between Mobility and Combat rather than Intellect. Both require a stat of 7.

Pick the option that matches your hero’s stronger stat. If neither stat reaches 7, the check can fail, but the call itself has no lasting story consequence.

Why the answer matters later

Comically Yours is not a standalone job. It is one of three calls, alongside Theatrically Yours and Nostalgically Yours, that the Brainteaser villain quizzes you on during the second shift. Remembering that the bomb was inside Mecha Man Prime lets you answer his riddle correctly when it comes up, so it is worth locking in the right toy even though a wrong guess costs nothing during the call itself.
