Genshin Impact: How to Get All Eye of Graeae Fragments (Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard)

Finish three Snezhnaya quest chains to rebuild Goggles' power and open the finale at the Court of Bliss.

Finish three Snezhnaya quest chains to rebuild Goggles’ power and open the finale at the Court of Bliss.

The Eye of Graeae, the monocle-shaped gadget you carry across Snezhnaya, needs all three of its scattered fragments before its story can conclude. Each fragment sits at the end of a separate world quest chain, and collecting the full set is the only thing that opens the final questline, Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard.

Quick answer: Complete the In the Dwelling of Life, Hesperides of Love and Hate, and On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb quest chains. Once all three fragments are in hand, the An Ark That Used to Be a Soul world quest begins, which starts Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard.

The three fragments and where each quest starts

There is no strict order for the three chains, but you need all of them done before the finale unlocks. Each one hands over a single fragment when you finish it.

Quest chainFragmentWhere to begin
In the Dwelling of LifePebble of Serpentine AlgaeStatue of the Seven in Flamefeather Valley, southwest of Morepesok
Hesperides of Love and HatePebble of Freezing HeartPick up an invitation at Svetloledovka, then go to Fellfrost Peak
On One Side a Palace, On the Other a TombPebble of Crystalline EssenceTriggers after the previous chain; reach White Birch Snowgrave

Start Hesperides of Love and Hate

Teleport to the central waypoint of Svetloledovka and walk straight ahead until you drop down to the bottom of the valley. You will land among miners and other NPCs, some standing on wooden platforms.
Look on one of the wooden platforms for a shiny spot and interact with it to collect the Invitation to the “Ritual.” If you cannot find it, speak to the Snegovik standing near the Teleport Waypoint to get an invite instead. Either method updates the quest.
Travel to the Fellfrost Peak Statue of the Seven, south of town. This triggers the Continue climbing the snowy mountain task inside Through the Gates of Ivory. Follow the blue marker to meet Ikhor, which formally opens the chain.

Work through the full chain to earn the Pebble of Freezing Heart. The finale here is a fight against Pavlina, after which Aksinya hands you the fragment.

Start In the Dwelling of Life

Head to the Statue of the Seven in Flamefeather Valley, west of the Central Station and southwest of Morepesok. Slightly south of the statue you will find an NPC called The Anvil.
Defeat The Anvil in combat. Beating them starts the In the Dwelling of Life chain immediately, no extra trigger required.

This is the longest of the three chains, packed with Grappling Gun and cube puzzles, a sewer keycard sequence, and boss fights against Furiosa, Zala the Immortal Firebird, and others. It also drops a gun blueprint along the way. Finishing it grants the Pebble of Serpentine Algae.

Start On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb

This chain begins on its own right after you wrap up the previous questline, so there is no separate NPC to find. Go to the Central Station and locate the Eye of Graeae inside one of the train carriages to pick the thread back up.

The mission takes you into the Snowgrave area and grants access to the Pale Crown Palace. Reaching White Birch Snowgrave is the key checkpoint, and completing the chain rewards the Pebble of Crystalline Essence, the last fragment you need.

How the finale triggers and how to confirm it

Once all three pebbles are collected, the An Ark That Used to Be a Soul world quest becomes available. Starting it kicks off Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard. If the finale has not appeared, one of the three chains is still incomplete, since the door to the Courtyard of Carefree Light only opens when every fragment is gathered.

Talk to the Eye of Graeae at the entrance to the Courtyard of Carefree Light, then choose to return its powers. Selecting “Yes, it’s time to return…” performs the return ceremony and opens the gate.

Enter The Court of Bliss with the group. Inside, you learn who Aksinya really is and the true purpose behind the Eye of Graeae. Aksinya then flees to the Shadow Realm, and you have to chase her down to save Goggles.
Win the fight against Aksinya and Svarod. Beating both concludes the questline and reveals the fate of Aksinya and the Eye of Graeae.

You know it worked when the A Thousand Affections Caught in a Sigh achievement pops after the final battle. Even though the story resolves Goggles’ arc, you keep the gadget’s exploration powers, so you will not lose the ability to use Prime Ice Constructs, drive the train, or resist the sheer cold in Snezhnaya.
