Anime Expeditions: How to Unlock Cubert on Tower Floor 50

Cubert is a limited support unit earned by clearing Floor 50 of the Tower before the season rotates out.

Cubert is a Limited Exclusive support unit added to Anime Expeditions in the Warrior Saga Update 1. He is not a gacha pull and does not appear on any summon banner. Instead, he sits behind the Tower, the endless endgame mode built for players who want to test their best squads against enemies with resistances and modifiers.

Quick answer: Open the Tower mode from the lobby and clear Floor 50. Beating the Floor 50 boss (Excellence, on the Fairy King Forest map) awards Cubert automatically. Open your inventory afterward to confirm he is in your unit collection.

Where Cubert comes from in Anime Expeditions

Cubert is tied to a fixed progression milestone rather than luck. Reaching Tower Floor 50 unlocks him every time, so there is no reroll or pity system to worry about. The catch is availability. He is a Limited Exclusive unit tied to the Tower season, cannot evolve, and leaves once that season closes.

The Tower splits into two tracks that share the same goal but behave differently. The normal (Trait) Tower keeps your rolled Trait buffs active, while the Traitless Tower strips them away. Both have separate floor progress and their own milestone rewards, and clearing Floor 50 in either one grants Cubert. The Trait track climbs faster because your units keep their stat bonuses, so it is the more efficient path.

How to reach Tower Floor 50

Load Anime Expeditions on Roblox and head to the Tower area in the lobby. The mode has its own section separate from Story content. Pick the Trait track for the quickest run.

Bring a rounded team rather than a single-element lineup. The Tower rolls fresh resistances, buffs, and debuffs on every floor, so one bad matchup can stall a mono-element squad. A dependable core of strong damage dealers, an economy unit or two for early upgrades, a slow or stun unit to stop leaks, and a shield breaker will carry you through most floors.
Speed up the easy early floors by turning on Autoplay and enabling Auto-Upgrade Placed Units in the settings. The game will then place and level your units for you, letting you clear the low floors quickly. Each floor runs roughly two minutes, so budget two to three hours for the full climb.
Take manual control once the floors get harder. Enemy health climbs into the 5,000 to 13,000 HP range in the later stretch, and Autoplay follows saved rules without reacting to a mid-run resistance change. Read the floor multipliers before entering (above 1 boosts that damage type, below 1 cuts it) and place your carries deep along the track, since Fairy King Forest sends fast enemies that slip past bunched placements.
After a loss, swap only the countered unit instead of rebuilding your whole team. Keep a dedicated shield breaker ready, because shielded waves show up often past Floor 40 and element buffs alone will not clear them. Keep grinding until you defeat Excellence on Floor 50.

Floor 50 rewards and how to confirm the unlock

Killing Excellence brings up the Floor 50 reward screen, and Cubert lands directly in your roster. Open your inventory to confirm he registered. The Gem payout here is small, so treat the climb as a unit hunt rather than a currency farm.

The Tower also tracks Season Rewards separately, with prizes handed out at floor tiers 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50. A Shiny version of Cubert is tied to the Tower seasonal leaderboard, which you claim from the Season Leaderboard screen once rewards unlock.

What Cubert does once you have him

Cubert is a Hydro-element, Magical-type support with a 950 Yen placement cost and up to three placements. His own damage stays low, but he is built around floating Cubes that attach to allies. Each Cube boosts the host unit’s Damage and Range, deals its own damage based on the host’s attacks, and eventually explodes into a stun. That makes him strong for delaying enemies while your main carries do the heavy lifting.

AbilityTypeEffect
CubesPassiveGains 1 ability charge every 10 seconds (capacity 2). Cubes deal 35% of the attached unit’s current damage per attack.
Cube LinkPassiveAttached Cubes grant +5% Damage and +3% Range. Bonuses stack additively when Cubes sit within range of each other.
Cube OverloadPassiveEach Cube’s meter rises by 1 on the host’s attack. At 3 stacks the Cube explodes, applies Stun, and deals 15% of the unit’s current damage.
Cube SummonActiveSelect a unit to summon a Cube on it. Limit of 2 Cubes per Cubert and 6 Cubes globally.

Because the buff only lands on units actually carrying a Cube, group your three Cubert placements around one damage pocket to stack all six Cubes on your strongest attackers. Fully clustered, that reaches roughly +30% Damage and +18% Range on your targets. Set Cube assignment to auto so Cubes hand themselves to nearby units without constant clicking, and park them on your fastest attacker so the Overload stun cycles more often.

For a Trait, Primordial is the standout pick at +35% Damage, -15% SPA, and +20% Range, since all three stats feed his support role directly. Avoid Unbound here. Its huge damage bonus locks him to a single placement, which drops you from six Cubes to two and guts the team buff. Since Cubert cannot evolve, whatever stats you roll or transfer onto him are permanent, so use stat transfer from a shelved unit with strong rolls and then lock him in your inventory.

The most important thing to remember is the timer. Cubert stays only for the length of the current Tower season, so clear Floor 50 and add him to your roster before it rotates out.
