Every egg, ticket cost, and pet passive in Update 2.0, plus which three pets to keep equipped.

Pets arrived in Greedy Growers with Update 2.0, adding 18 companions that sit in your plot and hand out passive boosts while your trees grow. You can keep up to three active at once, and each one hatches from an egg you buy with Tickets.

Quick answer: Buy an egg from the Pet Shop next to the Farmers Market, place it in your plot to hatch it, then equip the pet. Keep Robin and Woodpecker in two slots and rotate Cat, Dog, Turtle, or Sheep in the third.

How to get pets in Greedy Growers

Every pet comes from an egg, and every egg comes from the Pet Shop. The shop sits right beside the Farmers Market, and each egg is tied to a rarity that determines which pets it can hatch.

Open the Pet Shop next to the Farmers Market and pick an egg. Prices run from 100 Tickets for a Common Egg up to 2,000 Tickets for a Mythic Egg.

The Pet Shop lists every egg rarity and its ticket price.
Place the egg in your plot. It hatches over time, the same way you plant and grow trees.
Once it hatches, equip the pet in your plot. You know it worked when the pet appears in an active slot and its passive starts running.

You can hold three pets active at the same time. If you want more slots than that, you can buy them with Robux.

Every egg, cost, and possible pet

Each egg rarity locks you into a fixed pool of pets. Higher-rarity eggs cost more Tickets and can roll the harder-to-get pets.

EggCostPossible pets
Common Egg100 TicketsSquirrel, Bunny, Mouse
Rare Egg200 TicketsDog, Cat, Robin
Epic Egg500 TicketsChicken, Roach, Woodpecker
Legendary Egg1,000 TicketsCow, Sheep, Pig, Raccoon
Mythic Egg2,000 TicketsFrog, Magpie, Turtle, Monkey, Alligator

Note: The Magpie, which comes from the Mythic Egg, can also drop free pet eggs of any rarity in the table above. That makes it a slow but steady way to keep hatching without spending more Tickets.

How to earn Tickets for eggs

Tickets come mainly from the Farmers Market NPC. Talk to it to see the fruits it currently wants, then grow those fruits and turn them in. A single set of offers can pay out up to 200 Tickets.

Buy seeds from the river, grow the required fruits, and hand them over either all at once or one by one as you harvest them. Low-rarity fruits pay less, while high-rarity fruits with mutations pay the most. The offers refresh every 24 hours, so there’s always a fresh batch to work through.

You can also pick up free Tickets by redeeming active Greedy Growers codes in the game’s settings, which is a quick way to top up before a big egg purchase.

Best pets to equip

With only three active slots, the strongest picks are the pets that hand you more resources or protect your run. Robin and Woodpecker earn their spots because both feed you free seeds. Robin finds seeds that can arrive with mutations, and Woodpecker pecks trees in your plot for a chance to drop their seeds.

Magpie is worth chasing for its free pet eggs, and Sheep speeds up leveling by feeding XP to your other equipped pets. Cat is the simple growth option, since it makes fruits grow faster.

Keep Robin and Woodpecker locked into two slots, then swap the third based on your goal for the session. Cat pushes faster growth, Sheep levels your team, Turtle guards a tree against a lightning strike, and Dog is the one to equip whenever a mutation weather event spawns to raise your mutation odds.
