Epic Games is closing out Chapter 7 Season 3 with Sprite Spree Week, a five-day run of boosted spawn rates aimed at players who still have gaps in their Sprite collection. Each day spotlights a different rare variant, and a set of gameplay modifiers makes leveling and resummoning far cheaper than usual before the season ends.

Quick answer: Sprite Spree Week runs August 15 through 19. Mythic Sprite Hours open the event on August 15, then Galaxy, Holofoil, Cube, and Gem variants each get a 24-hour window from August 16 to 19. During those four days, Sprites cost no Sprite Dust to resummon, level up twice as fast, and healing at a Campfire pushes you to as much as 4x Sprite XP.

Sprite Spree Week full schedule and start times

The event begins on August 15 alongside the Unstable Story Moment live event, then rolls into a new featured variant every day. Only the opening Mythic Hours are split into short sessions. Every other day runs its featured variant continuously for 24 hours, switching to the next one at 6 AM PT (9 AM ET).

DateFeatured eventTiming (ET)
August 15Unstable Story Moment live event, then Mythic Sprite Hours2 PM (live event); Mythic Hours 2–4 PM and 9–11 PM
August 16Galaxy Sprite HoursAll day (starts 9 AM)
August 17Holofoil Sprite HoursAll day (starts 9 AM)
August 18Cube Sprite HoursAll day (starts 9 AM)
August 19Gem Sprite HoursAll day (starts 9 AM)
August 20Chapter 7 Season 4 launch4 AM (downtime begins)

The Mythic Hours on August 15 boost spawn rates for the Zero Point and Grim Sprites specifically. Both two-hour sessions run globally, so the second session at 9 PM ET is a fallback if you miss the afternoon window.

Active boosts from August 16 to 19

Across the four variant days, Epic layers several modifiers on top of the higher spawn rates. These are what make Spree Week the most efficient stretch of the season for filling out your collection.

BoostWhat it does
2x Sprite XPDoubles Sprite XP from opening containers, eliminating enemies, and extracting Sprites.
Zero Sprite Dust resummonsLets you resummon lost Sprites without spending any Sprite Dust.
Free Lucky LocatorsGrants extra Lucky Locators throughout the week.
2x Campfire XPHealing at a Campfire adds another 2x Sprite XP for that match, stacking with the base bonus for up to 4x total.

Sprites also level up twice as fast during this window, so pairing a Campfire heal with the base XP boost is the fastest way to master companions you already own.

How to know a variant window is live

Each variant day flips over at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET, and the featured variant is the one appearing at boosted rates in matches. If you are hunting Galaxy Sprites, drop in on August 16; for Holofoil, play August 17; Cube spawns are elevated on August 18; and Gem variants get their turn on August 19. The window ends the moment the next day’s variant takes over, so there is no overlap between the four featured types.

Note: Because each variant occupies a single 24-hour slot, a missed day means waiting for that variant to return in a future event rather than later the same week.

What happens to your Sprites in Season 4

Season 3 ends when downtime begins ahead of the Chapter 7 Season 4 launch on August 20 at 4 AM ET. The Sprites you collect now carry over into the new season through the Sprite Garden, so your existing collection is not wiped when Season 4 starts.

The catch is that this season’s Sprites won’t be freshly obtainable once Season 4 begins, and Epic is introducing a new generation of Sprites to chase. That makes Spree Week the practical cutoff for grabbing any Mythic, Galaxy, Holofoil, Cube, or Gem variant still missing from your roster.
