Two Saturday sessions boost Mythic Sprite drop rates, with an extra bump for Zero Point and Grim Sprites.

Fortnite’s next Power Hour turns the spotlight onto Mythic Sprites, boosting how often they drop across two Saturday sessions. It runs during Chapter 7 Season 3 and gives collectors one of the strongest windows to grab rare Sprites before Chapter 7 Season 4 arrives.

Quick answer: The Mythic Hours run on Saturday, August 15, from 2 PM to 4 PM ET and again from 9 PM to 11 PM ET (6 PM to 8 PM UTC and 1 AM to 3 AM UTC on August 16). Jump into a match during either window to get increased Mythic Sprite drop rates.

First session start: Saturday, August 15, 2026 · 2 PM ET / 6 PM UTC

What changes during the Mythic Hours

The core change is simple. Every Mythic Sprite becomes more common across the island, and two of them get an additional boost on top of that. The Zero Point Sprite and the Grim Sprite, along with their variants, are the priority pickups for this event.

Variants of these Mythic Sprites, including the Cube and Gem versions, share in the boosted rates. That makes this a good chance to fill gaps in your collection with rarer forms you may have missed.

How to make a Sprite count

Finding a Sprite is only half the job. It has to be banked, or extracted, before the match ends for it to lock into your permanent collection. Simply carrying a Mythic Sprite when the match closes does not add it, so plan to survive and extract rather than chase kills.

Once a Sprite is successfully extracted, it appears in your collection and stays there across future matches. If a boosted Sprite you grabbed is missing afterward, the most common reason is that the match ended before you extracted it.

Both sessions offer identical boosts, so pick whichever time slot suits your schedule and repeat matches within that two-hour window. With the season winding down toward Chapter 7 Season 4, these Mythic Hours are among the last high-rate chances to secure the Zero Point and Grim Sprites and their variants.
