Everything you need to reach Martos in the Fellfrost Peak ice cave, drift to shore, and claim the rewards.

For an Ice Mirror Fragment is a short World Quest in Snezhnaya, introduced with Genshin Impact 7.0. It begins the moment you step into an ice cave at Fellfrost Peak, where notes left behind by a stranded traveler lead you deep into the ice to rescue him. The whole run takes only a few minutes and hands you Primogems and Mora on completion.

Quick answer: Teleport to the Statue of the Seven at Fellfrost Peak, west of the House of Hesperides, and enter the ice cave to the south to trigger the quest. Clear the Prime Ice with the Eye of Graeae, melt the ice wall with a Basic Heat Source to reach Martos, then ride the glacier to the shore and speak with him to finish.

How to unlock and start the quest

You need access to Fellfrost Peak first. That opens up during the Archon Quest Chapter VII Act 1: Great Deeds on the Tundra, once the Traveler and Paimon reach Snezhnograd and are free to roam Snezhnaya without barriers. From there, you can call the Train at the Central Station using the Eye of Graeae to move around the region.

To begin For an Ice Mirror Fragment, teleport to the Statue of the Seven at Fellfrost Peak and head south to the base of the mountain, where a cave sits at the bottom. Walking inside starts the quest automatically. This same cave doubles as a shortcut up the mountain during the Through the Gates of Ivory World Quest, so entering it also cuts down the long climb.

Clear the cave and reach Martos

After the opening cutscene, aim the Eye of Graeae at the Prime Ice blocking your path and refund it to remove the ice. This opens the way forward into the cave.

Push deeper until you find abandoned camping gear guarded by a group of enemies. Defeat them all to claim a chest, then continue on.

Cross to the far side of the cave, climb the elevation Paimon points out, and keep moving. When a wall of Prime Ice blocks the route, clear it again with the Eye of Graeae to reach the trapped camper’s location.

Note: Keep some Prime Ice Resource and Kresnik Energy on hand so you can craft Basic Heat Sources if the Bitter Cold status starts building up while you explore.

Drift on the glacier to the shore

Once you reach Martos, the roof collapses and you both end up on a small piece of glacier floating on the water. Ride it along the path and clear anything in your way as you go.

Remove any Prime Ice blocking the route with the Eye of Graeae and take out the Hilichurls that fire arrows at you. Be careful with the Hilichurls in particular, since a few arrow hits can crack and break the glacier beneath you. When you land on the shore, a cutscene plays and you talk to Martos to formally complete the quest.

You know it worked when the closing cutscene triggers and the quest updates to completed after your conversation with Martos.

For an Ice Mirror Fragment rewards

RewardAmount
Primogems20
Mora26,500
Adventure EXP150

On top of these completion rewards, you also keep whatever you collected in the cave, including the chest from the camping gear enemies.

Grab the Luxurious Chest and exit

The quest ends at the shore, but you still need to leave the cave, and there is one more reward on the way out. Push a little further, melting ice with a Basic Heat Source, until you spot a huge Prime Ice Construct with a Luxurious Chest beside it.

Break the construct with the Eye of Graeae, open the Luxurious Chest, then create a Link Mechanism and zipline yourself up and out. This drops you closer to the marked area for the wider Hesperides of Love and Hate World Quest chain.
