Progression in Gohan 悟飯 (often called Project Gohan) runs on two things: reaching the right class to unlock Ki and flying, and stacking Zeni, training points, and codes along the way. The action RPG, developed by Project: Gohan ご飯, drops you onto a starting planet based on your race, and everything from combat to travel opens up once you clear the early class ranks.

Working Gohan 悟飯 codes and how to redeem them
Codes are free rewards the developers hand out for updates and milestones, and they expire on a set schedule. Redeem any code you want to keep as soon as you see it, because most stop working after a few weeks.

Some strings that look like codes do nothing. Spins and ResetSkills both return an invalid message, so skip them.
The race and trait spins from a code like 200 feed directly into the reroll systems, so save them if you are hunting a specific race, trait, or Ki color.
Class ranks and the Dragon Ball meter
Your class is tied to a circular Dragon Ball meter next to your character name. You begin as a low-tier warrior with a 6-star Dragon Ball, and the star count drops as you rank up until it reaches a 1-star ball. The icon grows and glows orange as you get close, then turns green right before a promotion.
Two actions lower the stars and push you up the class ladder:
- Fighting other players or defeating boss NPCs.
- Completing missions from the Mission Board and Bounty Board found in each city.
Reaching Novice Class is the gate for Ki and flying, so this rank is the first real milestone. New players also get Noob Protection that stays active until you hit Elite Class, shown by a countdown in the bottom-left corner.
How to unlock Ki and flight
Once you have the class requirement, Ki is learned through meditation. On Earth, the training runs through Master Roshi at Kame House, and the meditation itself is the same step no matter which path you take.

M to meditate. A meter climbs from Ki: 0% to Ki: 100%. Hold the meditate input steady for the full duration to finish it.
You know Ki is unlocked when the character can fly and use Ki attacks. Holding C activates Ki Burst mode, which wraps you in a blue aura and buffs your overall stats and Battle Power for up to two minutes of mastery. Ki Burst drains your Ki rather than your mode bar, and it can stack with other forms once mastered.
Note: The meditation menu on M also contains three selectable nodes labeled Control, DMG, and Motivation, marked with a yin-yang symbol. Meditating is where you both unlock Ki and shape these values.
Fastest ways to level up
Leveling comes from three repeatable activities, and mixing them keeps both EXP and training points flowing.

Your starting planet affects grind speed. Planet Vegeta spawns up to five Saibamen at once for combat missions, while Earth spawns one at a time, so Vegeta clears mission objectives noticeably faster.
For delivery missions, carrying a vial normally blocks climbing and flying. You can work around this by turning sideways against a wall, starting a climb, and picking up the vial mid-climb, or by grabbing the vial while already airborne to move it across the map quickly.
Stats, training points, and Zeni
Every rank grants 10 training points. Open your stats with Tab to see them, and spend them at the shop in Central City. The core stats you allocate are Strength, Agility, Durability, KiDmg, and KiControl.
The character menu also splits points into UTP (unearned) and GTP (gained), so plan which stats you commit to before spending. Equipping a Scouter from your inventory shows your current Battle Power on screen, which is a quick way to check whether your allocations are paying off.
Zeni is the main currency, and one of its biggest uses is travel between planets. Buy a Pod Capsule from the NPC Givler for 20,000 Zeni to open up interplanetary movement. His shop also stocks a Scouter for 1,000 and pricier capsules if you want faster or sturdier travel.
Races, traits, and passives
Your race decides your starting planet and your passive abilities. Saiyans, for example, automatically receive Zenkai Boost and the Ape Passive.

Traits carry their own perks, and specific ones tie into transformations. Mastering Ki Burst, for instance, is required for Demons with the Janemba trait to unlock the Janemba form. If your race, trait, or Ki color is not what you want, spend the race and trait spins you earn from codes to reroll them.
Between codes for spins and boosts, class ranks for Ki and flight, and Zeni for planet travel, the early game rewards a steady loop of missions and sparring. Lock in Novice Class first, unlock Ki through meditation, then pour training points into the stats that match how you like to fight.
