The Sims 4 hands players a built-in cheat console that skips past the game’s slower, grindier systems. A single typed command can fill a household’s bank account, max out a skill, unlock every career, or reshape a Sim’s traits without touching a save file or installing anything extra.
Every code below works on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox versions of the game as of the current build. Console players should know that turning on cheats disables Trophies and Achievements for that save session.

How to enter cheat codes in The Sims 4
Ctrl + Shift + C on Windows or Command + Shift + C on Mac to open the cheat console. On PlayStation or Xbox, hold all four shoulder buttons at once.testingcheats true into the console box and press Enter. Death, ghost, and relationship cheats
Turning off death with death.toggle false stops Sims from dying, while setting it back to true restores normal mortality. Fanged Sims can be killed with stats.set_stat commodity_Vampire_SunExposure -100, and pets can be turned into ghosts using traits.equip_trait Ghost_OldAge [Pet ID], with the ID pulled from sims.get_sim_id_by_name [PetFirstName] [PetLastName]. Running traits.remove_trait Ghost_OldAge [Pet ID] resurrects that pet.
For a Sim, the ghost type depends on how they died. Apply the result with traits.equip_trait [code] after the Sim has passed away.

Relationships can be pushed straight to a target level with modifyrelationship [SimFirstName] [SimLastName] [TargetFirstName] [TargetLastName] 100 LTR_Friendship_Main, swapping LTR_Friendship_Main for LTR_Romance_Main to set romance instead. The number before the track name sets the relationship value, from 0 to 100. relationships.create_friends_for_sim spawns a new Sim on the lot who already counts as a friend.
Season cheat codes
With the Seasons pack installed, seasons.set_season [number] jumps straight to the season tied to that number.

None of these commands carry any lasting downside once entered on PC or Mac. The only real trade-off is pacing: skipping straight to a maxed skill or a filled bank account removes the grind that usually gives the game its structure, so it’s worth using cheats selectively rather than applying every one at once.
