Pokopia: Every Fetching Scales for Feebas Reward and Prism Scale Cost

Six beach-themed furniture pieces are for sale until August 28, and here is what each one costs.

Six beach-themed furniture pieces are for sale until August 28, and here is what each one costs.

The Fetching Scales for Feebas event brings a small, beachy shop to Pokémon Pokopia, run by Feebas itself. You spend Prism Scales, an event-only currency, to buy summer furniture you cannot get anywhere else. The store stays open only while the event is live, so it pays to know exactly what is on the shelf before you start spending.

Quick answer: There are six purchasable rewards. Buy the Swim ring for 5 Prism Scales; the Sand bed, Cooler, Big swim ring, and Floating lantern for 10 Prism Scales each; and the Beach volleyball set for 15 Prism Scales. All are sold by Feebas inside any rebuilt Pokémon Center until August 28, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. local time.

The shop holds six items, and you can buy each one as many times as you like. If you want duplicates for larger decorating projects, stock up now, because the prices stay fixed for the whole event.

Each piece behaves differently once placed. The Cooler works as storage, so you can open the lid and stash items inside. The Sand bed lets a Pokémon nap in the sand. The Swim ring, Big swim ring, and Floating lantern can all be repainted, and the lantern doubles as lighting whether it sits on water or on the floor. The Beach volleyball set arrives with a net, ball, towels, and water.

How to buy the rewards from Feebas

You purchase everything by trading Prism Scales directly with Feebas. The currency drops only during the event and is found across Dream Islands, both out in the open and inside caves. Gather a stack first, then head to the shop counter.

Finish rebuilding at least one Pokémon Center. Feebas appears in front of any rebuilt Center, so the encounter cannot trigger until one is standing.
Talk to Feebas to start the event activity. Once you chat, it sets up shop inside the Pokémon Center at the counter.
Open the shop and pick an item. The trade screen shows the item and its Prism Scale price, then lets you confirm the exchange.

Feebas asks for the listed number of Prism Scales to hand over each item.

You know the purchase worked when the item lands in your inventory and registers in your collection. If nothing happens, the usual cause is not having enough Prism Scales, since the count required is fixed per item.

Note: This event needs an internet connection, and you cannot skip ahead by changing the Nintendo Switch 2 system clock to the event window.

Habitats you can build with the rewards

The furniture exists so you can attract Feebas and its Evolution, Milotic. Two event habitats use these items, and building them is what moves the Pokémon into your neighborhood.

HabitatRequired itemsPokémon attracted
Exciting beachSand bed x1, Big swim ring x1Feebas
Marine leisure activitiesSwim ring x1, Cooler x1, Beach volleyball set x1Milotic

Feebas wanders outside the Pokémon Centers during the event and is a common find in the Exciting beach habitat. Milotic shows up once it is drawn to the Marine leisure activities habitat, so build that space if you want the elegant Water-type to settle in.

Event window and where it takes place

Fetching Scales for Feebas runs from August 13, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. to August 28, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. local time, a fifteen-day window. When it closes, Feebas and its shop leave town, and the six items become unavailable. No official return date has been confirmed, though similar events have cycled back around roughly a year later.

The activity happens only in town. It does not appear in Bubbly Basin, the underwater area from the first Expansion Pass, and it does not appear on the Cloud Islands. Because it stays in town, every player can meet Feebas without owning the Expansion Pass. With just over two weeks to collect Prism Scales, grabbing extra copies of the pieces you like most is the safest way to avoid waiting for a possible future return.
