Grow a Chicken Fighter Egg Index: Every Egg and What It Hatches

Every egg’s best source and full hatch odds, plus the exact chains for the Void, Haunt, and Blazing Eggs.

Eggs drive the entire chicken chain in Grow a Chicken Fighter. Each of the 17 eggs is laid by a specific chicken, and each egg hatches its own pool of chickens, some of which then lay the next egg in the sequence. That loop is how you reach the rarest birds, so knowing which egg comes from which chicken is the fastest way to plan your farm.

Quick answer: Place the chicken listed under “Best source” on your plot and wait for it to lay that egg. To climb toward the top-tier eggs, hatch a Sergeant Hen for the Thunder Egg, hatch its Astro Chick for the Void Egg, and grab a Creepy Clown from the Arena Egg to farm the Haunt Egg. The Blazing Egg only comes from the Hot Event or a code.

How egg progression works

Every egg is tied to a “layer” chicken. When that chicken sits on your plot, it has a set chance to lay its matching egg over time. Hatching an egg then rolls against a fixed pool of possible chickens, weighted by rarity. Some of those hatched chickens are themselves layers for other eggs, which is how a common starter bird eventually leads you to a Legendary, Mythic, Divine, or higher chicken.

The practical takeaway is simple. To get a specific chicken, work backward: find the egg that hatches it, then find the chicken that lays that egg, and keep tracing the chain until you reach a bird you already own or can hatch cheaply.

How to get the Void Egg

The Void Egg has the deepest reliable chain, but it is worth it for the Void Rooster and the Cosmic-rarity Nebula Hen. The Astro Chick is the key layer, and it has the highest Void Egg drop rate in the game at 70%.

Hatch Thunder Eggs until you get an Astro Chick. The Thunder Egg has an 11% chance to hatch one, and Thunder Eggs come reliably from a Sergeant Hen (100% to lay).
Place the Astro Chick on your plot and leave it there. It will lay a Void Egg with a 70% chance, so it produces them far faster than any other chicken.
Hatch the Void Egg. You will know it worked when the hatch reward screen appears and lets you name your new chick before it joins your collection.

The hatch screen lets you name each newly hatched chick before it joins your roster.

How to get the Haunt Egg

The Haunt Egg is the route to spooky-themed chickens and the Cosmic-rarity Reaper Rooster. Its layer, the Creepy Clown, does not appear from a farmable base bird, so you have to pull it out of the Arena Egg first.

Farm Arena Eggs from a Slugger Hen (75% to lay) and hatch them until you land a Creepy Clown. The Arena Egg has an 11% chance to hatch one.
Put the Creepy Clown on your plot. It lays the Haunt Egg with a 75% chance, making it the only practical source for that egg.

Note: The Reaper Rooster sits below 1% on the Haunt Egg, so if you specifically want it, the Blazing Egg’s 2% rate is the better shot.

How to get the Blazing Egg

The Blazing Egg is the only egg with no chicken layer at all. It carries the richest reward pool in the game, including a 25% shot at the Secret-rarity Golden Goose, so it is worth chasing whenever it appears.

Wait for the Hot Event, which spawns randomly and runs for roughly six minutes. When it starts, a Blazing Egg appears inside the central ring of the map.
Grab the egg and keep hold of it. Whoever is carrying the Blazing Egg when the event ends is the player who keeps it.
If you would rather not compete for it, redeem the code 40KCCU for a free Blazing Egg. Codes are case-sensitive and go in through the ticket icon in the top-left of the screen in Grow a Chicken Fighter on Roblox.

Codes that grant eggs to skip the early chain

A few codes hand you eggs directly, which is the quickest way to jump-start the progression instead of grinding the first layers. Redeem them through the ticket icon menu.

Rare chickens spread across two eggs

Two of the most sought-after Secret and Cosmic chickens each drop from more than one egg, so pick the egg with the higher rate when you are hunting them.

The Grudge Egg is worth flagging separately. It is currently unobtainable, and its only hatch is the Cosmo Brat at 100%, so there is no reason to plan around it until a future update restores a way to earn it. For every other egg, the fastest path is to keep the matching layer chicken parked on your plot and hatch as it produces.
