Chulkaturin is stuck again. After you towed his frozen home to shore, the reclusive old spirit turns up a second time near a fishing dock, this time asking you to reinforce and expand his floating wooden cabin. The task sounds simple, but most players stall on the same objective: figuring out how to actually reach the scattered crates of building materials sitting on the ice.
Quick answer: Build Grappling Guns on the cabin’s platform and on the wooden ledges around the water, remove every Prime Ice blockade with the Manage Prime Ice Constructs toggle, defeat the enemies guarding the final path, then drag all three crate batches to the house. Collecting materials three times triggers the ending cutscene and completes the quest.
How to unlock and find the quest
This is the second entry in Chulkaturin’s hidden three-part questline in Snezhnaya. It only becomes available after you finish Ever Beneath the Waves, the quest where you free his cabin from the ice and pull it to land. Without that step done, the cabin here will not appear.
Teleport to Morepesok in the Everfrozen Earth region, then head north toward the docks near the Snezhnaya Fishing Association. The wooden cabin is moored among the broken icebergs at the pier.

Walk out to the cabin along the ice path, or use an elemental skill that lets you cross the water. As you get close, Paimon starts talking and the quest appears in your log. Chulkaturin recognizes you from before and asks for help gathering the crates scattered across the water.

Add to Google Preferences →How the Grappling Guns work
The whole quest runs on one mechanic. You build Grappling Guns, and each one connects to a hook across the water to pull whatever it is attached to. Depending on where you place the gun, you either drag the cabin toward the crates or drag the crates toward the cabin. When a path is too narrow to move the house, you move the boxes instead.
Every Grappling Gun costs the same to build. Open the construct menu (press T on PC), select the Grappling Gun blueprint, and place it. If you accidentally destroy one you still need, just rebuild it in the same spot.
| Construct | Build cost |
|---|---|
| Grappling Gun | 30 Ice and 5% Kresnik Energy |
Collect all three batches of reinforcement materials
Three quest markers appear on your map. You need to gather materials three times to trigger the finishing cutscene. Work through them in order.

All three ice blockades need to come down before the house can keep moving forward. Clear them one after another as the cabin drifts through.

Tip: There are several valid ways to line up the last stretch. If dragging each box feels fiddly, try removing the ice on the path and placing a single Grappling Gun at the edge of the cabin’s platform so the house drifts to the crates instead.
How to know it’s done and what you get
After the third batch is delivered, a cutscene plays and Chulkaturin thanks you before hinting that the two of you may cross paths one more time. The quest completes automatically once the scene ends, and a Precious Chest spawns near where you were standing.
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Primogem | 30 |
| Mora | 35,000 |
| Adventure EXP | 200 |
If your Adventure Rank is already maxed, the 200 Adventure EXP converts into 2,000 Mora instead, bringing the total to 37,000 Mora. Don’t forget to open the Precious Chest before you leave.
Where the questline continues
The story wraps up in In the Tranquility of Cycles, the final part of Chulkaturin’s arc. It does not show in your Quests menu until you physically travel to the trigger point at Tidesong Cavern. Use the teleport waypoint on the southwest side, then cross to the southernmost island using Prime Ice Constructs or a character who can hop across the ice platforms. Approaching the cabin there starts a long cutscene that closes out the questline.
