How the Meteor Shower Event Works in Kick a Lucky Block

Collect Meteors during the ten-minute Solar Storm, then spend them on upgrades and Meteor Shop boosts before the window closes.

Collect Meteors during the ten-minute Solar Storm, then spend them on upgrades and Meteor Shop boosts before the window closes.

The Meteor Shower Event is a limited-time mode in Kick a Lucky Block that puts a new currency, Meteors, into play. When it starts, a Solar Storm hits the map and Meteors begin falling from the sky. You kick your Lucky Block, steer it through the air, and grab as many Meteors as you can before the timer runs out. Those Meteors then buy permanent upgrades and temporary boosts.

Quick answer: Kick your Lucky Block into the falling Meteors to collect them, then run to the start line without getting hit to bank them. Spend banked Meteors on upgrades first, then Meteor Shop items. The event runs for ten minutes and returns every two hours.

How the Meteor Shower Event runs

The event fires on a fixed rhythm. It begins every two hours and lasts ten minutes each time, so there is a hard cap on how long you can farm per cycle. During that window the Solar Storm covers the map and Meteors stream down for you to catch.

Kick your Lucky Block once the storm begins, then control it in the air. Fly it through the falling Meteors to collect them mid-flight.
Head back toward the start line while carrying your Meteors. You only keep what you collect once you reach that line, so the run back is the part that actually banks your haul.

Avoid the Meteors still crashing down while you run. Taking a hit on the way back wipes every Meteor you gathered during that run, so a clean path matters more than a large pile you cannot deliver.

Note: The Meteors have a set path once they start falling. After a few kicks you can read where they land and line up your block to sweep through the densest stretch.

Meteor upgrades and what they change

Upgrades are the highest-value use of your Meteors because they make every later run more productive. Each one has multiple levels, and every level pushes its effect further. Buy these before touching the shop, since better spawn rates and rarer Meteors compound across the rest of the event.

Every Meteor Shop item and its cost

The Meteor Shop sells boosts and one-off items in exchange for Meteors. The potions run for ten minutes each, matching the length of a single event window, while the other entries apply flat effects. Some prices are still unset, listed here as TBA.

How to spend Meteors efficiently

The ten-minute clock rewards a specific order of spending. Pump Meteors into upgrades after each run rather than sitting on them, because higher spawn rates and rarer Meteors pay off immediately on your next flight. Shop potions can wait until the event ends, so you are not spending precious event time on menus.

  • Prioritize upgrades first so every run collects more Meteors than the last.
  • Cash out after each run, then buy the next upgrade before kicking again.
  • Save Meteor Shop purchases for after the storm ends, when the timer is no longer draining.
  • Learn the Meteor path so you clear the densest lane on every pass.

You will know a run worked when your collected Meteors carry over and your total climbs after you cross the start line. If your count resets to zero mid-run, a falling Meteor clipped you before you reached the line. The only way to prevent it is to keep moving and stay clear of the impact zones on the way back. When the event ends, the Meteor Shop stays open long enough to convert whatever you banked into potions and permanent boosts inside Kick a Lucky Block.
