Mortal Shell 2 Trophy List: How to Unlock Every Achievement

A complete breakdown of all 53 trophies, from weapon unlocks and boss kills to the two hardest hidden challenges.

A complete breakdown of all 53 trophies, from weapon unlocks and boss kills to the two hardest hidden challenges.

Mortal Shell 2 packs a full trophy list that tracks nearly everything you do across the game. There are 53 trophies on PlayStation and 52 on Xbox and Steam, with the only difference being the PlayStation Platinum. Most of them fall into your lap as you unlock weapons, claim Shells, and beat bosses, but a handful require deliberate detours and precise play.

Quick answer: Complete the main story, unlock every Shell, Weapon, and Sidearm, gather all collectibles, defeat every boss, and clear the two skill-based hidden trophies (Peter’s Perfect Parry and Ascension). Earning every other trophy automatically awards the No Lifer Platinum on PlayStation.

Trophy count and platform differences

The list splits into non-hidden trophies tied to standard progression and hidden trophies mostly connected to boss defeats and a few unusual interactions. On PlayStation, the No Lifer Platinum sits on top and requires every other trophy first. Xbox and Steam carry the same 52 achievements without a Platinum tier.

Story and progression trophies

These unlock as you push through the main path. Reaching key locations, watching your first Shell Memory, and finishing the game all count here. This is Not an Achievement is the Gold trophy for completing Mortal Shell 2 outright.

Shells and character trophies

Collectible and exploration trophies

Several Silver trophies reward thorough exploration. You will need to sweep the map for Ova, Tarstones, Map Fragments, and Beacons, and see every Shell Memory. Heavy Metal is the odd one out here, asking you to play all Lute Tracks in the game.

Hidden boss trophies

Every major boss defeat is a hidden Bronze trophy. You will earn most of these naturally by finishing the game, since the bosses gate progression. Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods, marks the end of the earlier Open Beta and is one of the first you face.

The hardest and most unusual trophies

A small group of hidden trophies asks for specific timing or offbeat interactions rather than raw progress. Two of them stand out as the toughest part of a full clear.

Peter’s Perfect Parry requires you to Perfect Guard every one of The Nameless Captive’s headspin attacks using the Untarnished Seal. There is no room for a single dropped guard, which makes reliable timing on that Seal the key.

Ascension is tied to discovering the secret of the Mango, an obscure interaction that will not appear during normal play. The remaining oddball trophies are easier once you know the trigger.

You will know the Platinum has triggered when No Lifer pops after your final remaining trophy unlocks. If you are close but the Platinum has not appeared, the missing piece is almost always one of the skill-based hidden trophies or a single collectible you skipped, so backtrack to any uncleansed Beacon, unclaimed Weapon, or Shell Memory you passed over. Everything else clears itself through steady play toward the end of the story.
