Black Ops 7 Zombies: Best Mammoth Attachments

The eight-attachment Mammoth setup, its build code, and the perks that keep the Shout of Neades firing.

The eight-attachment Mammoth setup, its build code, and the perks that keep the Shout of Neades firing.

The Mammoth is the heaviest gun in Black Ops 7 and, in Zombies, the most punishing one. It arrived with the Machine of War event in Season 5, and its Pack-a-Punch form turns a slow light machine gun into a two-round-per-trigger-pull shredder that scales the longer you keep firing. The build below leans into that, trading a little recoil control for headshot damage, fire rate, and enough mobility to actually move with the thing.

Quick answer: Enter build code L10-8WQX5-H3531 in the Armory to load the full eight-attachment Zombies Mammoth: LTI Stentorian Brake, 15″ Grovel Barrel, Flowguard Foregrip, Reconfigure Extended Mag, Papal Grip, Advantage Stock, Convergence Box Laser, and Bolt Carrier Group.

Best Mammoth attachments for Zombies

Every slot here is doing one of three jobs: crit damage, rounds on target, or letting you reposition. Nothing is spent on aim-down-sight speed, because you will barely use it once the gun is upgraded.

Two calls are worth explaining. The Reconfigure Extended Mag beats Formative Belt Fed because 75 rounds means you can hold the trigger through a boss phase without worrying about overheating, and the extra magazine size matters far more in Zombies than the belt-fed stability bonus. The Advantage Stock and Convergence Box Laser stack on top of a hip fire spread that is already maxed out, so the practical gain is mobility and a tighter reticle while you strafe.

What the Shout of Neades Pack-a-Punch does

Pack-a-Punching the Mammoth renames it the Shout of Neades. In that form it fires two bullets with every shot, effectively doubling damage per trigger pull, and its fire rate climbs the longer you hold the trigger down. It also sharpens hip fire accuracy enough that aiming down sights becomes optional in most fights.

You will know the upgrade landed because the weapon name in the HUD changes to Shout of Neades and the muzzle output visibly doubles up per shot. That name change is the confirmation, not the camo swap.

Perks and ammo to run with the Mammoth

Prioritize Double Tap and Deadshot Daiquiri. Double Tap pushes the fire rate higher, which compounds with the Shout of Neades ramp and the Bolt Carrier Group, while Deadshot Daiquiri adds damage to critical spots — the same thing the 15″ Grovel Barrel is paying recoil for.

The trade-off is ammo. Firing two rounds per shot burns through reserves fast, and the Mammoth’s ammo economy is weak as a result. Ammo Crates are the fix, so plan your boss run around one rather than assuming the 75-round mag will carry you.

Weapon levels needed for the late attachments

The Mammoth caps at level 39, and several pieces of this setup sit at the very top of that track. The full build only comes together once you have maxed the gun out.

How to unlock the Mammoth if you missed the event

The Mammoth was the headline reward of the Machine of War event track. If you did not claim it there, it becomes available through the Armory with Season 5 Reloaded on August 20. The other route is buying the Tracer Pack: Counter Fire bundle for 2,000 CoD Points.

One last thing worth knowing before you commit to leveling it: the Mammoth is getting reined in for Multiplayer, but the Studio Community Team has confirmed the gun is untouched for Rex Infernus. That means the version you take into the final Black Ops 7 Zombies map — and the boss waiting at the end of its easter egg — is the same one that has been dominating since Season 5 launched.
