Bot lobbies are the low-stress way to farm Sprites in Override. The matches are easy, the Victory Royale is nearly guaranteed, and you can loot at your own pace. The catch is that Epic does not put every Sprite into that loot pool, so a chunk of the Override collection is simply unavailable no matter how many chests you crack.
Quick answer: Seven Override Sprites spawn in bot lobbies — Jonesy, Bush, Adventure, 8-Bit, Sonic, Shadow, and Crown. Every other Sprite, including variants, requires a regular Battle Royale match, a trade, or a lobby cheat code.
Sprites you can find in Fortnite Override bot lobbies
These seven show up in both bot lobbies and normal public matches, so there is no reason to take the risk of a real lobby if one of them is the only thing missing from your collection.
| Sprite | Effect |
|---|---|
| Jonesy Sprite | Recovers health or shields after you take damage. |
| Bush Sprite | Drops a bush on you after a set duration. |
| Adventure Sprite | Upgrades a random inventory item on every level up. |
| 8-Bit Sprite | Puts an 8-Bit Shotgun in your first chest and adds a Score Multiplier for it. |
| Sonic Sprite | Increases sprint speed with each level up. |
| Shadow Sprite | Reloads weapons you are not holding over time. |
| Crown Sprite | Levels up through match wins and turns into a Gold variant. |

Add to Google Preferences →Crown Sprite: the one that stalls in bot lobbies
The Crown Sprite is a partial exception. You can obtain it by winning a bot lobby match, so the initial unlock is easy. Leveling it is not. Its progression is tied to wins in regular matches, which means a bot lobby Victory Royale does nothing for it once the Sprite is in your collection.
If your goal is the Gold variant, plan on playing public lobbies. Farming bots will leave it sitting at its starting level indefinitely.
Sprites that never spawn in bot lobbies
The following Sprites, along with their variants, are locked out of bot lobby loot entirely. Opening more chests will not change that.
| Sprite | Effect |
|---|---|
| Tails Sprite | Lets you hover. |
| Killswitch Sprite | Triggers Hangtime when you aim while jumping or falling, improving accuracy. |
| Jackrabbit Sprite | Grants a double jump. |
| Klombo Sprite | Hands you random items at each level. |
| Cheat Master Sprites | All inputs register as correct when entering cheat codes. |
This split is not new to Override. Rarer Sprites and cosmetic variants have consistently been kept out of bot matchmaking, so treat bot lobbies as a way to fill in the basics rather than a route to a complete collection.
How to get the locked Sprites without regular matches
There are two ways around the loot pool restriction. The first is trading, which lets another player hand over a Sprite you cannot find yourself. The second is Override’s Lobby Hack cheat codes, which are entered from the lobby and unlock specific Cheat Master Sprites outright.
Four of the known codes hand over Sprites directly. Each one is typed in the lobby, not mid-match.
| Code | Unlock |
|---|---|
| GottaGoFast | Cheat Master Sonic Sprite |
| IWannaFlyHigh | Cheat Master Tails Sprite |
| 8BitBlast | Cheat Master 8-Bit Sprite |
| Born2Play | Cheat Master Adventure Sprite |
You will know a code worked when the Sprite appears in your collection screen with an Equip button available. If nothing shows up, the code was either mistyped or already redeemed on your account.

Epic is adding more Sprites as the season runs, and each new one lands on one side of this divide or the other. Until then, the practical approach is to clear Jonesy, Bush, Adventure, 8-Bit, Sonic, and Shadow in bot lobbies, then switch to public matches for the Crown Sprite’s Gold variant and anything else the bot loot pool refuses to drop.
