The Warden’s Blight is the last Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Zombies, and it is the toughest to build. It is a set of dual crossbows assembled at Dravakar’s Anvil in Rex Infernus, and getting there means clearing a chain of grapple puzzles, a light-beam room, a life-draining vine, a forest scavenger hunt, and a rotating-pillar riddle. Here is the exact path from an empty grapple hand to a finished weapon.
Quick answer: Activate Pack-a-Punch to unlock the Void Claw grapple, surge the Nexus with a purple orb, break the Dravakar wall for the Fracture of Nyxara and slot it to make the Astral Flame, shoot the eye in Nyxara Sanctuary and route the beam into the Inner Sanctum, feed the vine and eat the fruit to reach the forest, collect three Wonder Weapon parts from three corpses, then solve the Dravakar Sanctuary pillar riddle and grapple up to Dravakar’s Anvil to build the Warden’s Blight.

What you need before you start
Nothing in this build works until Pack-a-Punch is running, because that quest hands you the Void Claw grapple hook, which every later step depends on. You grab the Void Claw from below the Nexus Forge once Pack-a-Punch is complete. Keep an explosive Lethal Equipment on hand to open a hidden wall, and Melee Macchiato helps if a stubborn plank refuses to break.
| Requirement | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Pack-a-Punch active | Unlocks the Void Claw grapple and the flame-charging mechanism |
| Void Claw grapple | Used for orbs, wall jumps, crystals, and the final ceiling climb |
| Explosive Lethal Equipment | Breaks the Northwest wall hiding the Fracture of Nyxara |
| Astral Flame | One-time item that lights the eye puzzle in Nyxara Sanctuary |

Note: The Astral Flame is single-use. If you waste it, you have to repeat the orb and crystal steps to charge another one.

Feed the vine and reach the forest

Collect the three Warden’s Blight parts
Inside the forest, find and interact with three corpses to hear Warden dialogue. Each corpse gives you one piece of the weapon. If a timer runs out before you finish, you are teleported back out. Advance a round, return to the vine, and eat another fruit to head back in for whatever you missed.
| Part | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Corpse 1 | Far left corner, near a cave |
| Corpse 2 | Middle of the map, resting by a rock |
| Corpse 3 | Inside a destroyed wooden cabin — melee the wooden plank to the left of it |
Tip: If the cabin plank does not break with a normal melee hit, Melee Macchiato gives you the extra force to knock it loose.
Solve the Dravakar Sanctuary pillar puzzle
Enter the Dravakar Sanctuary and look at the Southwest wall for the blue writing. Interact with it to receive a quote from Dravakar, which is one of four possible sentences. The quote you get decides how you set the four pillar symbols — a Sun, Moon, Galaxy, and Runner.
You rotate the symbols using three dials placed around the room. The Northeast dial sits close to the Armor Wall-Buy, the East dial is opposite the blue writing, and the Southeast dial is left of the GobbleGum Machine. Match your quote to the inputs below.
| Quote on the wall | Dial inputs |
|---|---|
| I remember the runner that travels to stars, while moons and galaxies stay true. | East dial x2, Southeast dial x3 |
| I drift to the runner that travels to the Moon, who borrows from galaxies when stars stay true. | Northeast dial x3, East dial x2, Southeast dial x1 |
| I drift to stars that remember moons, who borrow the runner that travels the galaxy. | Northeast dial x1, East dial x2, Southeast dial x2 |
| I remember galaxies that drift to moons, who borrow the runner that travels the stars. | Northeast dial x2, Southeast dial x2 |
When your symbols are set, walk to the central pillar and interact with its dial to lock in the answer. A wrong submission locks the mechanism for a full round, so read the quote twice before you confirm.

Build the weapon and confirm it worked
A correct answer lowers the central pillar and opens the room above the sanctuary. Grapple up through the ceiling with the Void Claw and interact with Dravakar’s Anvil while carrying all three parts. That assembles the Warden’s Blight, a dual crossbow you can then run through Pack-a-Punch for an upgrade.
You know the build finished when the crossbows appear in your hands from the Anvil. Keep in mind this is only the Wonder Weapon craft. The Bloodthorn Wonder Weapon skin, a Calling Card, and 10,000 XP come from finishing the full Rex Infernus main quest, which still ends with the Warden fight against Jack McGregor.
