Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: All Cheat Code Locations (Full Guide)

Where cheat code panels spawn across the island, which POIs hold the most, and how to enter them for Sprites.

Cheat codes are the main way to collect Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4, replacing the Sprite Chests that carried the mechanic through the previous season. They spawn on walls, floors, and other flat surfaces at fixed points across the island, and each one you solve hands over a random Sprite plus XP.

Quick answer: Land at Cluster Coast on the five-story building, look for the glowing four-arrow marker, then interact with the panel and press the arrows in the exact order shown. Cluster Coast has 57 possible spawn points, the highest of any single POI.

How to spot a cheat code panel

The marker is a glow with a four-arrow symbol on it. It is the same shape and size as the golden glow that sits above chests, so it is easy to confuse at a distance until you register the color and the arrow icon.

The glow tells you a panel is nearby, not exactly where it is. Some panels sit in the open, but plenty are tucked behind walls, wedged into corners, or stuck to the side of a box, and you will sometimes need to break a wall or an object to reach one.

Teal panels are by far the most common. Purple and gold versions turn up less often and carry better Sprites, and mythic codes sit at the top of the ladder.

Entering a cheat code

Walk up to the panel and interact with it. The screen displays a fixed sequence of arrows, and every panel you find uses a different combination.
Press the arrow directions in exactly the order shown, left to right. A panel reading down, right, up, right needs those four inputs in that sequence, nothing else.
Confirm the reward. A successful entry drops a Sprite straight into your inventory alongside XP, and the Sprite you get is random within the panel’s rarity band.
Take the Sprite to an extraction station to pull it out of your inventory and keep it on your account.

Spawn points are fixed, spawns are not

This is the single most important thing to understand about farming them. The island has a set list of positions where a cheat code can appear, but none of them spawn at a 100 percent rate in any given match.

That changes how you should move. Rather than hunting randomly, learn a cluster of nearby spawn points and check them in a fixed order. If a position is empty, move to the next one on the route instead of circling back, and you will cover far more ground per match.

Note: the arrow sequence and the panel’s rarity are decided when it spawns, so there is no way to influence what you get before you interact with it.

The three best farming POIs

Density matters more than anything else. The bottom-right corner of the map, covering Cluster Coast and Shaken Sanctuary, holds 107 possible spawn positions between them, which makes it the strongest single drop region on the island.

POIPossible spawnsWhere to focus
Cluster Coast57The five-story building
Reality’s Reign77Concentrated on the main building
Heatwave Harbor76High-rise buildings, linked by a jump pad
Green Hill Zone~60Anywhere; jumpers and boosters speed up routing

Cluster Coast is the best single POI to commit to. Land directly on the five-story building and sweep it top to bottom before spreading into the surrounding area.

Reality’s Reign packs more raw positions than Cluster Coast, but they are stacked tightly on the main building, so it plays well when you want a vertical route with almost no travel time. Heatwave Harbor is the third option, and its jump pad connects the high-rises so you can bounce between towers rather than dropping and rebuilding height.

Green Hill Zone is worth mentioning separately because of movement. It carries roughly 60 positions and is filled with jumpers and boosters, so clearing its route takes less time than the raw spawn count suggests.

Other POIs with cheat code spawns

Every named location on the island carries at least some spawn positions, so a hot drop is never wasted if you know the layout. These are the rest of the areas to route through.

  • Lifty Lodge
  • Chopped Shop
  • The Battlewoods
  • Latte Landing
  • Wonkeeland
  • Golden Grove
  • Shaken Sanctuary
  • Sunken Shores
  • Mega Maze
  • Stone Sanctum
  • Sinister Ship

Two of these need a warning. Mega Maze rearranges itself with randomly spawning walls and floors, so a route you memorized in one match may be blocked in the next, and it is the hardest place to farm efficiently. Geno’s Machine only spawns cheat codes to the north of it, so searching the ground south of the machine is time thrown away.

The Cluster Coast vault

Since Cluster Coast is where most farming routes start, the vault there is worth folding into the run. It sits on the ground floor of the main building and needs a key to open.

The key is held by a rubber duck wearing sunglasses, which spawns in one of the pools around the POI. Check the pools, grab the duck, and take the key back to the vault door.

Power Hours: Gold Sprites

Gold Sprite drop rates increase during set windows under the Power Hours: Gold Sprites event. On August 22 the boosted windows run from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET and again from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET.

If you are chasing higher-rarity Sprites specifically, stack your Cluster Coast or Reality’s Reign runs inside those windows rather than spreading them across the day. No further Power Hours windows are confirmed at this time.

Why a code fails to appear

If you arrive at a known position and find nothing, the cause is almost always one of three things. The spawn simply did not roll that match, another player reached the panel first, or the panel is present but concealed behind a wall or object you have not broken yet.

Check for the glow before you commit to searching. If there is no glow anywhere near the position, the code did not spawn and the correct move is to keep going down your route.

Once you have a rhythm, a single Cluster Coast drop can clear a dozen or more positions before the storm forces you out, which is the fastest way to build a Sprite collection this season.
