Resonance Sim Realm is the headliner event in Wuthering Waves version 3.6, and it plays like a compact rogue-like. You steer Rover through enemy packs and bosses, pick combat buffs after each clear, and keep pushing into harder fights.
Quick answer: The event is live through September 29, 2026. After every stage, take one Skill Factor (only one can stay equipped), stack General Factors, and leave Resonator Enhancements on Rover’s base kit. Swap Keepsakes only at designated stages.

Resonance Sim Realm dates and rewards
Resonance Sim Realm opened on August 22, 2026. It closes on September 29, 2026, before version 3.6 ends. There is no later run date confirmed after that window.
Clearing the mode pays out the usual upgrade pile plus a few event-only items. The limited cosmetic is the one that disappears when the event does.
| Reward | Notes |
|---|---|
| Astrites | Standard premium currency |
| Shell Credits | Standard gold |

Phantom: Myriad Snare – Rustfire Chassis is only available while Resonance Sim Realm is running. Once it is in your inventory, you can equip it on the matching 4-cost Echo to apply that skin.

Add to Google Preferences →Spectro and Havoc Rover attributes
You can flip Rover between Spectro and Havoc for the run. Each attribute brings its own exclusive Resonator buffs, so the choice is a loadout decision, not a cosmetic one.
| Attribute | Supported Resonators |
|---|---|
| Spectro | Hiyuki, Phoebe, Cartethyia, Augusta |
| Havoc | Luuk Herssen, Suisui, Phrolova, Qingxiao |
Pick the attribute that matches the Resonator abilities you want Rover to borrow. Those exclusive buffs stay tied to the attribute you have active while you fight.
Resonance Factor rules
Each cleared stage can hand you two buffs. The pool is split into Resonance Factors (Skill and General) plus a third track called Resonator Enhancements. They do not overwrite each other.
| Buff type | What it changes | How many you keep |
|---|---|---|
| Skill Factor | Replaces and strengthens one Rover action with a Resonator ability | One. A new pick overwrites the old one |
| General Factor | Combat buffs tied to synergies and Resonators | They stack |
| Resonator Enhancement | Buffs Rover’s base kit only | Separate. Does not touch Skill or General Factors |
Skill Factors are the dangerous click. They overwrite a single Rover action, so you should treat that slot as locked unless the new ability is clearly better. A Skill Factor can sit on any of these actions.
| Rover action | Skill Factor effect |
|---|---|
| Basic Attack | Replaced by the chosen Resonator’s basic string |
| Heavy Attack | Replaced by the chosen Resonator’s heavy attack |
| Resonance Skill | Replaced by the chosen Resonator’s skill |
| Dash or Dodge | Replaced by the chosen Resonator’s dash or dodge |
| Morph Skill | Replaced by the chosen Resonator’s Resonance Liberation |
General Factors are the stack. Take the ones that line up with the Resonator kit you already slotted onto Rover. Resonator Enhancements sit underneath all of that and only raise Rover’s own kit. They will not rescue a bad Skill Factor pick, and they will not cancel a General Factor.
Note: Confirm the Skill Factor prompt before you accept it. The mode will let you replace a working ability with a worse one, and there is no second equipped slot to fall back on.

Mid-run rooms in Resonance Sim Realm
Not every stop after a clear is another wave. Three other systems sit between fights, and each has a hard limit you should not ignore.
| Stop | Limit | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Keepsake | One relic at a time | Gives Rover a unique buff. You can swap it at designated stages. Each relic has its own upgrade condition |
| Supply Domain | Appears after a set number of stages | Full heal, plus a shop where Aalto sells supplies for the rest of the run |
| Chaos Zone | Optional high-risk room | Offers strong buffs paired with debuffs. Take it only if the downside is something your current Factors can absorb |
Keepsakes are not a second Skill Factor. They are relics with their own upgrade checks, and you only hold one. If a later stage lets you swap, compare the new relic’s condition against the one you are already charging. A half-upgraded Keepsake you understand is usually safer than a fresh one you cannot trigger.
Supply Domains are the recovery beat. Use them to heal and spend on Aalto’s stock before the next boss pack. Chaos Zones are the opposite bet. The buffs are real, but so are the debuffs, and those penalties stay on you while you keep climbing.
A finished run shows up as the event rewards landing on the account, including the Resonance! Best Combo title and, while the event is still open, Phantom: Myriad Snare – Rustfire Chassis. If that Phantom is missing after you clear the track, the event window has already closed.
