Retro Tower Defense has folded the cast of Forsaken into its classic-Roblox world for a limited crossover run. The update brings the Void tier Chance tower, four fresh maps, 20 event skins, new titles, a reworked Challenges menu, and a set of permanent achievements that carry rewards across both games.
Quick answer: The Forsaken X RTD event is live now and ends Friday, September 4th at 5:00 PM. Earn event tokens in matches to unlock the Chance tower at 5,000 tokens, then work through the new maps and achievements before the timer runs out.
Event window and how to join
The collaboration launched on August 21st and runs through Friday, September 4th at 5:00 PM. Everything tied to the crossover, including the event skins and the Chance tower unlock, is available during that window. Progress you lock in before the deadline stays on your account.
You join straight from the Retro Tower Defense experience page and play normally to build up event tokens. The game supports PC, Mac, iOS, Android, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Add to Google Preferences →Four new maps
The update adds four maps themed around the crossover. They appear across the standard game modes and are where the new Forsaken-tied achievements are completed.
| Map |
|---|
| Classic Battlegrounds |
| Cool Carnival (c00l carnival) |
| Pirate Bay |
| Reborn Family Abode |
Event Pass and the 20 new skins
The Event Pass tracks your token progress and lays out the event rewards across several rarity tiers. There are 20 new event skins to collect, and the pass also gates the Chance tower behind a token requirement.

The Chance tower sits on the pass at 5,000 tokens, alongside skin options such as the Nayn and Alien variants for the tower. Reaching that token total is the key milestone if your goal is to add Chance to your loadout.
Separately, there is an exclusive RTD Skin Launcher. It cannot be bought outright and is gifted only by authorized Forsaken testers, moderators, contributors, and developers.
Chance tower stats and card mechanic
Chance is a Void tier DPS tower built around a gambling theme. Its signature mechanic is Deal Cards, which draws random cards that apply temporary buffs to the tower. Its “Another One” trait improves the draw by dealing four cards instead of three.
| Base stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Price | $17,500 |
| Damage | 200 |
| Cooldown | 1s |
| Crit Chance | 30% |
| Crit Damage | x2.25 |
| Range | 18m |
| Luck | x1.75 |
You place Chance like any other tower, then use Deal Cards during a round to roll for a buff. Upgrading it from Level 1 to Level 5 raises its output and changes its appearance, including a tuxedo look at higher levels.
The cards you can draw each apply a different short-term effect. Two of them, Color Up and Royal Flush, are especially strong because Color Up advances Chance a level for free without spending cash.
| Card | Effect |
|---|---|
| Snake Eyed | -50% cooldown fire rate boost for 10 seconds |
| Ace of Spades | x2 Crit Damage for 10 seconds |
| High Roller | x2 Crit Chance for 10 seconds |
| Color Up | Free upgrade to the next level |
| Royal Flush | Explosive bullets, x2 damage, x2 Crit Chance for 20 seconds |
New titles
Four new titles arrive with the crossover. These display next to your name and are earned through event progression rather than purchased directly.
Challenges menu and permanent achievements
A new Challenges button brings Tower Paths and Achievements together into a single interface, so you no longer switch between separate menus to track them.

Eight permanent achievements were added. Five belong to Retro Tower Defense, and three are Forsaken achievements that reward exclusive Forsaken skins for clearing specific goals on the crossover maps.

The Forsaken-side rewards are tied directly to your Retro Tower Defense results. Each one unlocks a themed skin once you meet its condition.
| Reward skin | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Retro Tower Defense Jane Doe (with Custom Hatchet) | Win 3 times on any Forsaken map in Retro TD |
| Hyperlaser Chance (with Custom Abilities) | Win Normal Mode on all Forsaken maps |
| 4x4x4x4 1x1x1x1 | Win Hard Mode on all Forsaken maps |
You know an achievement has completed when the Challenges menu marks it as claimed and the linked skin appears in your inventory. If a Forsaken reward is not unlocking, confirm you cleared the required mode on every Forsaken map, since partial completion does not count.
Changes on the Forsaken side
The crossover also adds content inside Forsaken itself. Two new emotes are available in its shop, and several skins have returned or been introduced.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| XD Dance emote | $700 |
| Looping the Burger emote | $1,000 |
| Campsite Victims Noob (Variants 1–3) | $800 |
| Pride Noob | $800 |
| Superballer Taph (Custom Tripmine) | $1,000 |
| Forestmage Dusekkar (Custom Green Effects) | $800 |
Alongside these, 2x EXP is temporarily active for an unspecified duration, and Nosferatu’s render has returned. No official date has been confirmed for the Summer Games content, which is not out yet.
With the event closing on September 4th, the priority is clear. Bank enough tokens to unlock Chance, roll for the event skins, and finish the Normal and Hard clears on the Forsaken maps to secure the achievement skins before the crossover ends.
