Every reward, date, new hero, and system from the 8th anniversary update, plus how to claim the coupon and skin.

Epic Seven turns eight, and the anniversary update loads players up with free pulls, a fan-voted skin, a Chaos Zero Nightmare crossover, and a long-requested Steam release. Most of the giveaways are tied to logging in during a fixed window, so the timing matters as much as the content itself.

Quick answer: Log in from August 27 to claim the free “Majestic” New Moon Luna skin, collect 20 free Covenant Summons every day for 63 days (1,260 total, running through October 29), and redeem the coupon code TY_E8_INFINITY for 80 Gold Transmit Stones, 800,000 Gold, and 80 Greater Charm Selection Chests.

Free summons and anniversary login rewards

The headline giveaway is a daily Covenant Summon event that pays out 20 free pulls each day from August 27 to October 29. Over the full 63-day stretch that adds up to 1,260 summons, all claimed simply by opening the game during the period.

Alongside the daily pulls, a set of cumulative and selector rewards is available. These give you direct control over which units and gear you walk away with, rather than leaving everything to chance.

The free New Moon Luna bunny girl skin

New Moon Luna, the winner of the 2025 hero popularity poll, receives a bunny girl outfit called the “Majestic” skin. It is free for every player who logs in on or after August 27, and it stays claimable through December 10, 2026. More bunny girl skins for other Moonlight and Covenant characters are planned to follow in the same series.

New heroes and the Paradise Lost side story

A new side story episode called “Paradise Lost” begins on August 27, set in the 1st Era, the earliest point in the game’s timeline. The story centers on a world that repeatedly falls to ruin and is rebuilt, and it introduces its cast over time rather than all at once.

Chaos Zero Nightmare collaboration

A crossover with Smilegate’s other title, Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN), kicks off in September. Three CZN characters arrive as playable Epic Seven heroes after crash-landing into its world through a Chaos Gate.

  • Renoa arrives as a Moonlight hero and can be obtained for free during the event period.
  • Haru and Mei Lin are available through limited summons.

The collaboration also adds themed content to Witch Haven, including a consultation office and a shop styled after CZN’s own systems, where an NPC sells CZN gear and items adapted for Epic Seven.

New modes: Dimension Exploration and Call of Chaos

Two new modes launch with the anniversary. Dimension Exploration is a permanent roguelike that runs on its own seasonal cycle. It costs no entry currency and can be replayed at will. You start by choosing three heroes and special effects, then expand your party to four as you progress, with a tag system that lets you hold up to three reserves for a total squad of seven.

Runs follow node-based paths of combat, shops, and events, and end when you clear three floor bosses or wipe. Progress pays out settlement currency, Archive and Journal entries, and Chapter Pass rewards such as MolaGoras and Equipment Charms. The first season is themed around the CZN crossover, with new themes planned later.

Call of Chaos is a new 3v3 arcade-style PvP mode inside World Arena. A roughly one-minute pick and ban phase shows random heroes all at once, with up to two rerolls. Instead of eliminating every enemy, you win by destroying the opponent’s rear-row Guardian, which keeps reviving fallen heroes until it falls. Mid-match “Destiny” effects let you buff allies or debuff foes, and a run ends at 7 wins or 3 losses, awarding ranking points and shop currency.

Offline battling, gear sets, and the Imprint Circuit

The biggest quality-of-life change is offline background battling. Battle Delegation now keeps running even when the game client is closed, calculating progress from your existing clear records. You can queue up to 100 stamina entries, roughly 400 battles, and enable automatic equipment selling and extraction while you are away.

Three new gear sets, Riposte, Warfare, and Pursuit, join the game, and a new Imprint Circuit system lets you raise a designated hero’s stats using Faint Mana Crystals. Older content is also being reshaped. Ogre’s Armory folds into a new Hunt entry called Ogre Hunt, while Rift is temporarily removed for an overhaul. Profile Cards expand to 130 layers and 10 slots, and a friend gifting feature is added.

Steam launch and account transfer

Epic Seven is coming to Steam in the second half of 2026, with the store page already open for wishlists. Existing players can move over through STOVE-supported account transfer, and the Steam build adds controller support. No exact launch date has been confirmed yet.

A new server will open alongside the Steam launch. It runs as an independent matchmaking pool for players starting fresh, keeping newcomers separate for a set period before it merges with the existing pool.

Offline events and E7WC 2026

Beyond in-game content, the anniversary spills into real-world events and the competitive season. Returning-player rewards, the Sanctuary, and Epic Dash Pass content give lapsed Heirs a reason to check back in during the celebration.

The clearest way to confirm everything landed is the mailbox and the in-game event tab from August 27 onward. Once the skin appears in your inventory, the daily summons start ticking down from 63 days, and the coupon rewards show in your mailbox, you know the anniversary content is active on your account.
