The 2.0 update for Crimson Desert, released on August 25, 2026, adds eight secret skills for Kliff that expand his movement, mobility, and combat. Each one is gated behind a prerequisite skill and a specific level in his existing trees, so unlocking them is a matter of investing in the right base skill first.
Quick answer: Raise the required base skill to the listed level, and the matching secret skill becomes available to learn. For example, Water Stride unlocks once Double Jump reaches Level 2, and Finding Rush unlocks at Armed Combat Level 6.
All eight new Kliff secret skills and their unlock requirements
Each secret skill has a single prerequisite. Once you push that base skill to the required level, the secret skill can be learned. Here is the full list.
| Secret skill | Effect | Unlock requirement |

| Water Stride | Hold LShift on water to sprint across its surface. Costs 10 Stamina per second. | Double Jump Level 2 |
| Serenity | Restores more Spirit while Focus is maintained. | Focus Level 4 |
| Flowing Force Palm | Increases damage on the first and second hits of Force Palm and adds an extra attack. | Force Palm Level 4 |
| Ascending Force Palm | Raises jump height and improves Aerial Force Palm. | Force Palm Level 5 |
| Descending Force Palm | Hold the Middle Mouse Button during Aerial Force Palm to follow up with Diving Force Palm. | Diving Force Palm Level 2 |
| Finding Rush | Press LMB after an attack to move to the next enemy and keep attacking. | Armed Combat Level 6 |

All of these secret skills sit behind base skills in Kliff’s three trees. To reach the required levels, you spend Abyss Artifacts, which are the main resource for upgrading skills. Artifacts come from defeating enemies, exploring, progressing quests, beating bosses, and solving Abyss Puzzles.
Which skills to prioritize
Water Stride is the standout for exploration, letting Kliff run across water at the cost of 10 Stamina per second. For combat, the Force Palm branch stacks three upgrades that add hits, extend jump height, and chain an aerial dive, making the ability far more useful in a fight.
Finding Rush, Enhance Flight, and Enraged Parry cover crowd control and defense. Finding Rush carries your attacks from one enemy to the next, which helps against groups, while Enraged Parry lets you interrupt an incoming hit with CTRL even mid-action.
Note: The prerequisite levels are firm gates. If a secret skill still shows as locked, the base skill has not reached the required level yet, so keep spending Abyss Artifacts on it until the number matches the requirement above.
