The first Best Of batch of the FC 26 Pre-Season promo is live, dropping some of the year’s strongest FUTTIES, TOTS and TOTY items back into Ultimate Team packs. The pool tops out at 99-rated cards and covers every position, so a single lucky pull can lift almost any squad before attention shifts to FC 27.
Quick answer: Batch 1 cards are available in packs from August 28 to September 4, 2026. Open Rare Gold packs, store packs, or packs earned from Objectives, and the re-released items can appear directly in your club when you unpack them.
Batch 1 pack dates and availability
Pre-Season is the final FC 26 campaign, and it does not add a brand-new special squad. Instead, selected Best Of items return to packs in timed batches. Batch 1 runs for one week, then the pool rotates to Batch 2.

How to pull Batch 1 cards from packs
Batch 1 items sit inside the standard Rare Gold pool, which means they can surface from most gold packs while the window is open. There are several ways to get more attempts.
- Open packs that contain Rare Gold Players, including Jumbo Rare Player Packs.
- Take player picks that offer Rare Gold Players.
- Buy store packs, which can also include these cards during the window.
- Complete Objectives to earn extra packs, then open those packs for a chance at the items.
You will know a pull worked when the card lands in your club with its Best Of styling and the listed overall rating. Cards you do not need can be used as fodder for the Pre-Season SBCs and Evolution content running alongside the batch.
Because Pre-Season is built to bridge into the next title, completing eligible Objectives, SBCs and Evolutions during this window also banks untradeable FC 27 rewards such as packs, Coins and loan Player Picks. Those carryover items unlock in FC 27 when you log in to Ultimate Team on the same EA Account used in FC 26.
