Leveling in Dungeon Quest Reborn rewards finished runs, not time spent in the lobby. Every point of EXP comes from clearing a dungeon, so the whole problem breaks down into two things: how much EXP each clear pays, and how many clears you can finish per hour. Multipliers handle the first part, difficulty and party quality handle the second.
Quick answer: Turn on Hardcore mode (+10% EXP), own the VIP game pass (+20% EXP), and activate a +100% XP boost before you enter — that is +130% EXP — then run the highest difficulty your party can actually finish, ideally Nightmare.
How EXP multipliers stack in Dungeon Quest Reborn
The three EXP sources are additive, and all three can be active at the same time. Nothing here cancels anything else out.
| Source | EXP bonus | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| VIP game pass | +20% | Permanent once purchased |
| Hardcore mode | +10% | Toggled per lobby |
| XP boost | +100% | Timed; only ticks down inside a dungeon |
| All three together | +130% | Boost active, Hardcore on, VIP owned |
The timer detail matters more than it looks. A boost does not burn while you are standing in the lobby, sorting inventory, or waiting on a party, so buy the boost, then form the group, then activate it and go straight into runs.

Add to Google Preferences →Hardcore mode: one life, +10% EXP, extra loot
Hardcore is a toggle on the Create Lobby screen. In Hardcore, every party member gets one life, and in exchange the run pays 10% more XP, 10% more luck, and +1 drop of loot.
The EXP number is the small half of the deal. The extra drop and the luck bonus mean more gold and better gear per clear, which funds upgrades, which lets you hold a higher difficulty. That loop is the real reason experienced players leave Hardcore on permanently once they can survive on a single life.
Note: One life applies to the whole party. If you are running with strangers who keep wiping, a failed Hardcore run pays nothing at all, so drop the difficulty rather than the toggle.
Run the highest difficulty you can finish
Each difficulty step from Easy up to Nightmare pays more EXP and better loot. Nightmare is the target farm tier for anyone who can survive it. If you cannot, step down one level, not three — a clean Insane clear beats a Nightmare attempt that burns the timer and ends in a wipe.

Move to a new dungeon when your current Nightmare clears feel routine, not when you simply want to see a new map. Sitting on an easy dungeon at a high level is the single biggest waste of time in the game.
Clear speed is part of the EXP equation too. Group enemies together before using area abilities instead of chasing them one at a time, and put your gold into one weapon and one armor set rather than spreading upgrades across gear you will replace. Match the stat type to your build — do not pay to upgrade physical damage on a mage wand.

Mage first, Warrior around level 50
The fastest early build is a Mage. Spells arrive early, spell damage scales well at low levels, and crowd control like Poison Cloud from Desert Temple clears packs quickly. Put every stat point into Spell Power and keep only a small stamina cushion.
Around level 50, switch to a Warrior build and move your points into Physical Power. Warrior burst damage pulls ahead in the mid and late game. Skills worth building around include Gale Slice and Battle Shout for Warrior, Ice Needles and Phantom Flames for Mage, and Aura of Life if you are the one carrying heals. Healing scales with Spell Power, so a Warrior who sprinkled a few points into magic is not a healer.
Avoid hybrid splits entirely. A split build makes every clear slower, and slower clears are the same thing as less EXP per hour.

Game pass buy order: x2 Gold, VIP, Extra Item
Three game passes matter for leveling speed. Buy x2 Gold first so every later purchase gets cheaper in real terms, then VIP for the permanent EXP bonus, then Extra Item for the additional loot roll. Some players flip the last two and take Extra Item ahead of VIP, which is defensible if you plan to play for months and care more about gear than raw EXP.
| Game pass | Effect | Price |
|---|---|---|
| x2 Gold | Doubles dungeon gold | 899 Robux or 672.0K Gold |
| VIP | +20% EXP, plus cosmetics | 799 Robux or 672.0K Gold |
| Extra Item | Additional loot roll per run | 1599 Robux or 1.2M Gold |
Game pass gem prices scale with the dungeon tier you have reached, so buying early costs less than buying later. x2 Gold applies to dungeon gold only.
XP boost prices and gold packages
XP boosts are bought with gold from the Boosts tab in the Shop. All three durations give the same +100% multiplier, so the only question is gold per hour of boost.
| Boost duration | Effect | Gold cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Hour | +100% XP | 2.4M |
| 2 Hours | +100% XP | 4.4M |
| 4 Hours | +100% XP | 10.1M |
The 2 Hours option is the best rate at 2.2M gold per hour, against 2.4M for the one-hour and roughly 2.53M for the four-hour. Buy it only when you have a two-hour block to actually spend inside dungeons.

If you would rather skip the early gold grind, gold can be bought directly with Robux and spent on the passes and boosts immediately.
| Gold package | Price |
|---|---|
| 480K Gold | 89 R$ |
| 960K Gold | 149 R$ |
| 2.40M Gold | 299 R$ |
| 4.40M Gold | 599 R$ |
| 10.08M Gold | 899 R$ |
Get carried by higher-level players
Nothing beats being carried. A high-level player clearing a late dungeon while you tag along pays far more EXP per minute than anything you can clear on your own, and it works reliably up to about level 140.
#raid-post-guidelines! channel first. Posts there list who is running what, at which difficulty, and whether spots are open.
One hard limit applies. Gold and XP from boss raids are only awarded up to level 145, which exists to stop players skipping whole dungeon tiers. Past that point, raid carries stop paying and you need to clear content at your own tier.
Trading has its own restriction worth knowing before someone offers you gear: you can only receive items from players in your current dungeon tier or lower. A friend cannot hand you an end-game weapon at level 20.
What does not make you level faster
Cosmetics do nothing for your stats or your clear speed. Gems mainly buy cosmetic crates in the main lobby, so they are not part of a leveling plan. Egg Island is a cosmetics farm and can be skipped if EXP is your goal.
Stat reset tokens are also easy to skip if you commit to a single damage stat from the start. And any script promising automatic leveling is a fast route to a banned account, which sets your EXP total to zero permanently.
You will know the setup is working when a Nightmare clear on Hardcore with a boost active pays a visible multiple of what the same dungeon gave you on a solo Easy run, and when the level bar moves after a single clear instead of five. If your EXP looks flat, check the boost timer first — it drains only inside dungeons, and it is easy to lose track of one that expired mid-session.
