Update 2 for Anime Stars is live, and it drops a Bleach-flavored world called Hollow World on top of the game’s existing anime-hopping loop. It brings two new gacha systems, a rarity tier above Secret, a boss trial with ranks attached, and a lobby banner carrying the Gojo and Gilgamesh stand-ins. Here is what unlocks, what it costs, and what the odds look like.
Quick answer: Open the Teleport menu and travel to Hollow World, pay 8 billion coins at the Mask Gacha pedestal and 120 billion coins at the Weapon Auras pedestal, then redeem UPDATE2, 3MVISITS, 7KLIKES, and AURASFIX in the Shop for summons, chests, and potions.
How to reach Hollow World and what it unlocks
Hollow World sits in the same Teleport list as every other world in Anime Stars. Open the menu, pick Hollow World, and hit Teleport. No key or quest gate stands in the way, but the two systems inside it are locked behind coin walls.

Both pedestals sit inside the world itself, and both are one-time purchases. The Mask Gacha is the cheap one and worth grabbing first.
| System | Unlock cost | Currency used to roll |
|---|---|---|
| Mask Gacha | 8 billion coins | Mask Fragments |
| Weapon Auras | 120 billion coins | Weapon Aura Shards |
Hollow World missions and how to farm shards
The mission chain starts at the Hollow World Missions NPC. Walk up and press E to talk, then accept the first job, Hollow Initiate, which asks you to defeat 25 Bambieths. Later entries in the chain include Sand Pursuit, Bone Fang, and Espada Tyrant.

Killing enemies in Hollow World is also how you stock up on rolling currency. Bambieths and the other local mobs drop both Weapon Aura Shards and Mask Fragments, so the mission counter and your gacha stockpile fill up at the same time. The objective tracker in the corner shows your kill progress as you fight.

Weapon Aura drop rates and the new Star rarity
Weapon Auras are the headline addition, mostly because they introduce Star, a tier that sits above Secret. Star entries are the rarest things in the pool by a wide margin, and one of them does not even publish a rate.
| Aura | Rarity | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Violet Pulse | Common | 40% |
| Solar Spark | Uncommon | 29% |
| Frost Current | Rare | 18% |
| Arcane Storm | Epic | 9.1% |
| Abyss Current | Legendary | 1.5% |
| Verdent Spirit | Mythic | 1.5% |
| Royal Tempest | Secret | 0.4% |
| Inferno Veil | Secret | 0.4% |
| Celestial Tide | Star | 0.2% |
| Crimson Dominion | Star | Not listed |
Star is not confined to Hollow World. The tier has been added across several older gacha systems too, including Blessings, and Absolute Grace shows up as a Star-tier entry alongside the aura pool. If you are checking Haki, Doujutsu, Races, or Passives, look at the bottom of each rarity list to see whether a Star line has been appended.
You can also set a Target Aura, which is useful when you are hunting one specific effect rather than rolling blind.
Mask Gacha drop rates
Masks are the cheaper system to open and each one carries a power multiplier. The rate curve is steeper at the top than the aura pool, with the Mythic mask landing well under a fifth of a percent.
| Mask | Rarity | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Shattered Mask | Common | 43.87% |
| Feral Fang Mask | Uncommon | 29.25% |
| Lesser Void Mask | Rare | 16.25% |
| Savage Abyss Mask | Epic | 9.03% |
| Veiled Hunter Mask | Legendary | 1.39% |
| Abyssal Lord Mask | Mythic | 0.17% |
Reaper Trials and rank bonuses
Reaper Trials are Hollow World’s difficulty check. You start at Unseated and climb toward ranks such as Seated Officer, each of which applies stat boosts to your account. Grimjaw is the fight most players will run into first, and he hits hard enough that an undergeared roster will lose the attempt outright.
Note: there is no partial credit for a failed trial. Build power through auras, masks, and stronger champions before retrying rather than throwing repeated attempts at the same boss.

Kaizen banner units and shiny multipliers
The character banner lives in the Lobby, not in Hollow World, so teleport back before spending premium summons. The Kaizen banner carries Gojiro at Legendary, with Kaizen and Vilgamesh as the two Mythic pulls.

Two mechanics matter when you roll. Soft pity is in effect, so a long dry streak improves your odds over time, and shiny versions of champions carry a 1.5x multiplier on their stats. The auto-fuse settings let you exclude shinies from automatic fusing, which is worth switching on before you start bulk summoning.
Fix for multi-summons not working
If the multi-summon button on a banner refuses to fire while single pulls still work, the cause is a full champion inventory rather than a bug. The game blocks bulk rolls when there is no room to store the results.

Weapon rerolls
Update 2 also added a reroll option for weapon stats, handled in the Lobby. Spend shards to reroll the stats attached to a weapon such as Sun’s Longsword until you land a spread you want to keep. It is a straight gamble each time, so bank shards before committing to a chase.
Update 2 codes and how to redeem them
Four codes shipped alongside the update, and they are the fastest way to bankroll a run of banner pulls. Enter them exactly as written, capital letters included.
| Code | Rewards |
|---|---|
| UPDATE2 | 3 Ninja Chests, 15 Summons, 5 Premium Summons, 2 each of Double Power, Double Damage and Double Coins Potions, 2 Lucky Potions, 2 Draconic Essences, 2 Demon Castle Keys, 2 Dragon Keys |
| 3MVISITS | 3 Ninja Chests, 10 Summons, 3 Premium Summons, 2 each of Double Power, Double Damage and Double Coins Potions, 2 Fortune Talismans, 1 Dragon Key |
| 7KLIKES | 3 Wood Chests, 8 Summons, 2 Premium Summons, 2 Double Coins Potions, 1 Lucky Potion, 2 Vital Beans |
| AURASFIX | 2 Double Power Potions, 2 Double Damage Potions, 2 Double Coins Potions, 2 Lucky Potions, 1 Skill Reset |
If nothing happens, the usual culprits are a typo, mismatched capitalization, a code you have already claimed on that account, or a server still running an older version. Leaving and rejoining puts you on a different server and often clears the last one.
Older codes including SHUTDOWN, 6KLIKES, UPDATE1.5, and 2MVISITS are still worth trying if you have not claimed them yet, since none of the game’s codes have been marked expired. Two further releases are already on the experience page schedule: Update 2.5, a smaller quality pass listed for Tuesday, September 1 at 9:00PM, and Update 3 on Friday, September 4 at 9:00PM. Fresh codes typically arrive with each of those drops.
