Dungeon Quest Reborn: How to Get Legendary Cosmetics (Crate Glitch)

Legendary Case costs, crate odds, the leave-game reroll trick, and how to tell when a cosmetic actually unlocks.

Legendary Case costs, crate odds, the leave-game reroll trick, and how to tell when a cosmetic actually unlocks.

Cosmetics in Dungeon Quest Reborn come out of gem crates, and the expensive one is the Legendary Case. Players have been circling a workaround that pauses a spin mid-roll and backs out of the server before the result sticks, letting the same gem balance be spent again. It is an unintended exploit rather than a feature, it does not change the random number generation behind the wheel, and it can stop working after any patch.

Quick answer: Open the shop’s Crates tab, buy the Legendary Case for 10,000 gems, then press Escape while the wheel is still spinning. If the roll lands on something you do not want, hit Leave before it finalizes and rejoin — your gems come back untouched. If it lands on the legendary you want, hit Don’t Leave and let it save.

Legendary Case cost and crate prices in Dungeon Quest Reborn

Every cosmetic roll starts in the same place. Open the shop from the lobby and you get five tabs — Featured, Cosmetics, Gamepasses, Boosts, and Crates. Crates is the only one that gambles gems for a random cosmetic; the rest sell fixed items at fixed prices.

Three cases sit in the Crates tab, priced by rarity ceiling.

Legendary Case odds

The odds panel attached to the Legendary Case is not static. In one shop state it displays a pool of Uncommon 70% and Rare 30%, with no legendary tier listed at all. In another it displays Rare 50%, Epic 35%, and Legendary 15%. Read the percentages on the case in front of you before spending 10,000 gems, because the same case name can be showing a very different payout table.

How to reroll the Legendary Case with the leave-game glitch

The whole trick rests on when the game writes your purchase to your save. The spin animation runs on your client first, so there is a window between the wheel starting and the result being recorded. Leaving the server inside that window discards both the roll and the gem deduction.

Load into the lobby and note your exact gem count. That number is how you will tell later whether the reroll worked or whether the purchase went through anyway.
Open the shop, switch to the Crates tab, and select the Legendary Case. Do not click yet — you want the leave prompt ready before the animation starts.
Click BUY / OPEN to start the spin. The roulette begins cycling through the cosmetic pool.

Immediately press Escape to bring up the “Are you sure you want to leave the game?” prompt. The wheel keeps spinning behind the dialog, so you can watch where it is heading while the exit is already queued up.
Watch the item the wheel is settling on. Click Don’t Leave to keep a result you want, or click Leave to drop out of the server before an unwanted result is written.
Relaunch Dungeon Quest Reborn from the Roblox experience page, rejoin the lobby, and check your gem total against the number from Step 1. If it is unchanged, the roll never saved and you can spin again.

Note: on mobile there is no desktop window to close, so the same exit is done through the Roblox escape menu. The timing window is identical, which is the part that makes this awkward on slower connections.

How to confirm a legendary cosmetic unlocked

A successful roll produces an on-screen unlock banner naming the item and its type, such as “Cosmetic Armor Unlocked Evil Beastmaster”. That banner is the confirmation the result was saved server-side, not just animated on your client.

Then verify it properly. Open the Cosmetics menu, check the Armors, Weapons, or Titles tab for the new entry, and equip it. If the item is listed after a fresh rejoin, it is permanently on your account. If the banner appeared but the item is missing on relaunch, the transaction did not complete.

Why the crate reroll glitch fails

Failures are almost always timing or expectations, and it is worth being blunt about the second one.

What happensWhy
Gems are deducted anywayYou left after the roll had already finalized on the server
An unwanted cosmetic is unlockedThe exit prompt was opened too late in the spin animation
Nothing changes no matter how you time itThe exploit has been patched in the current build
Legendaries still take dozens of spinsLeaving does not alter the RNG or improve the listed drop rates

That last row is the one people misread. Nothing here guarantees a legendary. It only removes the gem cost of a bad roll, so the same 15% chance is being retried over and over. Because it depends on unintended save behavior, treat it as something that can vanish with the next update rather than a reliable farming loop.

Legendary cosmetics in the Legendary Case pool

The legendary tier spans weapons, armors, and titles. Known pulls include Holy Excalibur, Astral Guardian, Demonic Warrior, Demonic Daggers, Hammer of Judgment, Ancient Great Sword, Death Spikes, the Giraffe Onesie, and the Godlike title. Angelic Warrior, Shattered Blades, Evil Beastmaster, and the Papa title also turn up from case openings.

None of them touch your numbers. Cosmetics override the appearance of equipped gear and nothing else, so a full legendary look on a starter weapon still clears dungeons at starter speed. If a tooltip lists Damage, Spell Power, or Health, you are looking at real gear, not a skin.

How to spend gems on cosmetics without the glitch

Direct purchases skip the wheel entirely and cost a fraction of a case. Fixed-price cosmetics in the shop run far below the 10,000-gem Legendary Case, which makes them the sane option if you want a specific look rather than a specific rarity tag.

CosmeticTypeCost
Shadow SpiritArmor1,000 gems
Shadow DaggersWeapon1,000 gems
BartenderArmor600 gems
Root BeerWeapon500 gems
Jade PulseWeapon Enchant400 gems
Golden BurstWeapon Enchant400 gems

If you are set on the crate route, bank gems instead of opening cases the moment you can afford one, check what is actually inside the current case before committing, and only pull when the pool contains something you want. That advice holds whether the reroll trick is live or patched — the odds panel is the only thing that ever decided your chances.
