Mitya Constellation Leaks in Genshin Impact: C0 to C6 Effects Explained

What the early beta notes describe for Mitya's on-field DPS role, Stellar Super Conduct buffs, and each Constellation stage.

What the early beta notes describe for Mitya’s on-field DPS role, Stellar Super Conduct buffs, and each Constellation stage.

Mitya is shaping up as an Electro Stellar Linchpin carry built around Snezhnaya’s Stellar Super Conduct reaction, and early beta notes now sketch out how his kit changes from Constellation 0 through Constellation 6. He is expected to arrive in Version 7.2, and the current read is that he plays mainly as an on-field main DPS while offering some team support that scales with his Constellations.

Quick answer: At C0, Mitya applies Electro at mid frequency, grants his party 120 Elemental Mastery, and adds a 20 percent Stellar Super Conduct Damage bonus, with his Alienated Stellar Super Conduct only working while he is on the field. Everything above C0 mostly increases his own damage or deepens team support.

Note: These are beta-stage leaks. Numbers and mechanics can change before Mitya’s banner goes live, so treat any specific value as provisional.

Mitya’s core role and element

HoYoverse posted a Known Issues note for the Version 7.0 Archon Quest saying Mitya’s on-screen Vision icon is displayed incorrectly and should read as an Electro Stellar Linchpin. That correction is the key detail for how he functions in combat. It ties him directly to the new Stellar Conduct meta rather than to a plain Electro build.

His kit is described as scaling off Elemental Mastery, and leakers frame him as a dual-mode character. The on-field mode is treated as his primary, more powerful playstyle, where he modifies how Stellar Super Conduct behaves. An off-field mode drops that modification and leaves him acting closer to an Electro applicator in the vein of Yae Miko.

He has been tested in a team with Odette, Sucrose, and Valeriy, which revolves around the Stellar Super Conduct reaction. That lineup pairs him with Elemental Mastery support and a Cryo converter to keep the reaction rolling.

Mitya Constellation effects from C0 to C6

The table below summarizes what each leaked Constellation stage does. C3 and C5 details are not described, which is normal since those levels usually raise talent levels rather than add unique effects.

ConstellationLeaked effect
C0Mid-frequency Electro application; Elemental Burst gains stacks; grants party 120 Elemental Mastery; adds 20 percent Stellar Super Conduct Damage bonus; Alienated Stellar Super Conduct only triggers while he is on the field.
C1Grants an extra 40 Elemental Mastery to teammates and lets him swap off the field quickly if teammates meet certain conditions. Adds extra Mastery stacks even if his Burst was not used during the E preparation phase. An additional 20 percent Stellar Super Conduct Damage bonus is possible.
C2While on-field, he gains 90 percent Crit Damage; while off-field, he shreds enemy Electro and Cryo RES by 25 percent.
C4Increases his own Elemental Mastery.
C6Grants himself 20 percent of a stat labeled “Elevation.” Its exact function is not defined.

What C0 gives you

At base, Mitya covers three jobs at once. He applies Electro at a steady mid frequency, which keeps the Cryo and Electro pairing active for the Polestar field. His Elemental Burst builds stacks, and he passes 120 Elemental Mastery to the whole party.

The 20 percent Stellar Super Conduct Damage bonus is the reaction-specific piece that makes him valuable in a dedicated Stellar Super Conduct team. The catch is his Alienated Stellar Super Conduct only fires while he is standing on the field, which reinforces that his strongest role is as the active DPS rather than a pocket support.

How each Constellation changes his output

C1 stacks more Elemental Mastery onto the team, adding 40 on top of the C0 buff, and gives him faster off-field swapping when his teammates meet the required conditions. It also lets him keep buffing even when his Burst was not fired during the preparation window for his skill. Some notes attach an extra 20 percent Stellar Super Conduct Damage bonus here, though that part is less certain.

C2 is where his identity splits by position. On-field, the 90 percent Crit Damage feeds straight into his personal DPS. Off-field, he trades that for a 25 percent Electro and Cryo RES shred against enemies, which turns him into a more support-flavored piece for the rest of the team.

C4 raises his own Elemental Mastery, which matters because his kit scales off that stat. C6 gives him 20 percent of “Elevation,” a stat whose effect is not yet defined in the current notes.

How the on-field Stellar Conduct change works

The most distinctive leaked mechanic is a rewrite of how Stellar Super Conduct deals damage. Normally, a Cryo and Electro pairing on a team with a Stellar Linchpin creates the Polestar field, and each elemental application inside raises the field’s level, increasing the Stellar Conduct multiplier. Characters standing in that field then deal direct Stellar Conduct reaction damage, while the underlying reaction itself contributes nothing beyond sustaining the field.

With Mitya on the field, the base Cryo and Electro reaction is described as starting to do Stellar reaction damage on its own, and the Polestar field itself also deals Stellar reaction damage. In practice, that means your characters would do direct Stellar Conduct damage while the field adds its own layer, comparable to how Stellar Swirl’s Vortices behave. When Mitya moves off-field, this rewrite stops applying and he reverts to being an Electro applicator that can still contribute Stellar Conduct damage.

Team pairings under discussion

Low-investment builds lean on Sucrose for Elemental Mastery sharing and RES shred. Higher-investment notes suggest ATK buffers give him less value because his own kit tracks Mastery instead of attack power. His confirmed 4-star partner in the leaks is Valeriy, an Electro Sword shielder described as providing a team shield, 20 percent Stellar reaction damage, and 120 Elemental Mastery.

Odette is the Cryo converter that turns Superconduct into Stellar Super Conduct, making her a natural fit alongside Mitya. A core lineup that appears repeatedly is Mitya, Valeriy, Odette, and a flexible fourth slot such as a battery or a second Cryo applicator.

Release window and what stays unconfirmed

Mitya is expected to debut in Version 7.2, with community estimates pointing to an early November window for his banner. HoYoverse has not locked a Special Program date, so the timing is not officially confirmed. He is not part of the 7.1 lineup, which is reserved for Vesna and Vodyanitsa.

Everything about his talent multipliers, energy costs, and the exact behavior of the “Elevation” stat remains unsettled at the beta stage. Until his official kit lands, treat the Constellation values here as a working picture rather than final numbers.
