Asylum Life is running its weekly content update right now, and the team behind the game has penciled in a larger Roleplay Servers feature for the start of October. The experience — where you either play an Orderly keeping the facility in line or a Patient causing trouble — has built a large roleplay following, with about 280,000,000 lifetime visits and about 1,900,000 favorites.

Asylum Life ships a new content update every Friday, and the latest one is live, with less than a day left left in this week’s run. The updates land Fridays at 6:00 PM ET (3:00 PM PT, 10:00 PM UTC, 11:00 PM BST). The most recent drop, dated August 28, 2026, introduced a new Medical subteam, reworked the Laser Pistol, and folded in a batch of quality-of-life fixes.
Joining while the update is active gives you a one-time 15-minute double booster for the week, redeemable in the Shop under Boosts. The notify list for it already sits at about 380,000 interested players.
Roleplay Servers signup (upcoming)
The biggest draw on the calendar by interest is the Roleplay Servers signup, penciled in for October 1–3, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM ET (3:00 PM PT, 10:00 PM UTC, 11:00 PM BST). Its notify list has climbed to about 530,000 players — a good deal more than the weekly update draws.
One caveat worth flagging: the developers say the October date is a placeholder rather than a confirmed launch. The feature would let players hop into private roleplay servers straight from inside the game, and it depends on a Roblox capability the team is still waiting on, so the window may move. The studio has said it will post an official date through its Roblox group once the feature is closer.
