Idle Mafia Game runs on one persistent 2D map that never stops. Your properties keep paying out while you are logged off, your henchmen keep guarding your turf, and rival Families keep looking for someone with a fat wallet and no defense. That combination punishes new players who hoard cash on hand instead of turning it into income.
Quick answer: Run “Keep Watch on the Corner” until you can afford the Newsstand Front, buy it immediately, join the Stacks of Cash group and like the game for a permanent +10% property income, then deposit any cash you are not about to spend into the First National Bank.
What you start with in Idle Mafia Game
A new character spawns with $500 Cash on Hand and three resource meters in the top-right corner. Those meters gate everything you can do, so check them before you plan a session.
| Resource | Starting value | What it limits |
|---|---|---|
| Cash on Hand | $500 | Property buys, weapons, gear — and it can be stolen |
| Energy | 20/20 | Jobs you can run before you have to wait |
| Stamina | 6/6 | Attacks on other players |
| Health | 100/100 | How long you survive being attacked |
Cash on Hand is the number rivals can take from you. Everything below is about moving that number into something permanent as fast as possible.

The board fills out as you level, and the later entries pay more per run than the corner watch. The full early lineup covers:
- Keep Watch on the Corner
- Tag Rival Turf
- Boost a Parked Car
- Shake Down the Newstand
- Fence Fake Watches
- Rough Up a Pickpocket
- Hijack a Delivery Truck
- Run the Chop Shop Night Shift
- Bribe a Dock Inspector
- Rob the Pawn Shop Safe
Tip: jobs are a means to an end, not the engine. Once Energy is spent, stop grinding and go spend the money.
Buy the Newsstand Front before anything else
Properties are the only thing that earns while you are offline, so the first property matters more than any weapon or crate. The Newsstand Front is the entry-tier building and should be your very first purchase.

| Property | Cost | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Newstand Front | Entry tier | Buy first |
| Pizzeria | $2,000 | Second target |
| Pawn Shop | $8,000 | Third target |
| Chop Shop | — | Later tier |
| Nightclub | — | Later tier |
| Import/Export Warehouse | — | Endgame tier |
Claim the permanent +10% property income
There is one free multiplier that applies to every property you will ever own, and it takes about a minute. Liking the experience and joining the developer’s Roblox group grants +10% property income, permanently.
Do it before you buy anything expensive so the bonus is already active while your buildings tick. The group is Stacks of Cash, the same account that publishes the game.
The in-game reward panel stops offering the boost once it is applied, and your hourly property figure rises to match. If the number has not moved, rejoin the server so the game re-checks your group membership.
Use the First National Bank to stop PvP theft
Attacking other players and stealing their cash is a core loop here, and every dollar sitting in your Cash on Hand is a target. The First National Bank exists to take that money off the table.
Deposits carry a 10% fee, which feels bad the first time you see it. It is still the correct play whenever you are about to log off or step away, because a mugging can clear the whole balance instead of shaving a tenth of it.
The practical rule is simple. Keep only the amount you are actively spending in your pocket, bank the rest, and withdraw in one lump when you are ready to buy the next property.
Level 3, the Lead Pipe, and defense gear
Jobs push your level up, and Level 3 unlocks the Lead Pipe for $500. That is the first real weapon a new player can hold, and it is worth buying once your first property is already earning.
From there, gear splits into weapons, armor, and vehicles, which feed your attack and defense stats. Henchmen you hire can be equipped with the same categories, so upgrades protect your turf as well as improving your own raids.
Note: gear does not generate income. Buy defense to hold what your properties produce, not as a replacement for buying more properties.
Skip the crates while you are still building income
Crates are random rolls, and early on your cash pile is too small to absorb a bad one. Spending $8,000 worth of crate pulls instead of buying the Pawn Shop can leave you with nothing that pays out per hour.
Treat crates as something you open with surplus money later, once your properties cover their own upgrade costs. Until then, every purchase should either raise your hourly income or keep that income safe.
Promo codes and how to redeem them
Codes are the fastest possible head start because they hand over cash before you have run a single job. No active codes are live at the moment, so there is nothing to enter right now, but the redemption flow is worth knowing so you can use one the moment it drops.
New codes usually appear after a major update or when the experience hits a likes or visits milestone, and they are posted first in the game’s official Discord server.
The early game rewards a boring, repeatable loop. Spend Energy on the cheapest job, convert the payout into the next property up the list, lock in the group income boost once, and bank whatever is left before you close the tab. Wars, Families, and trophies are all still ahead of you, and they go much better when your buildings have been paying you the whole time you were away.
