Exact rooms, floors, and jar puzzles for the Woman’s, Old Man’s, and Head Surgeon’s face masks inside Akeley Hospital.

Chapter 3 of The Sinking City 2 sends you through Akeley Hospital, where three preserved face masks are hidden across the grounds. Two of them sit inside preservation jars that need lock puzzles solved, and one is built from two separate halves that must be fused at a workbench. Here is exactly where each mask sits, which floor to search, and what you have to do to claim it.

Quick answer: The Woman’s Face Mask is in the Morgue on floor -1F, the Old Man’s Face Mask is fused from two halves found in the Waiting Area (1F) and Prosthetics building (1F) at the Prosthetics Workshop (2F), and the Head Surgeon’s Face Mask sits on a table in the Sacristy (1F).

Woman’s Face Mask in the Morgue (01/03)

The first mask waits in the Morgue on floor -1F. It belongs to a young woman whose face was expertly removed and preserved inside a sealed jar.

Head down to the Morgue on floor -1F and locate the wall of body drawers.

Open the middle-left drawer to pull out a preservation jar, then inspect it in your hands.
Rotate the jar to reach the lock puzzle on its back, solve it, and open the jar to claim the Woman’s Face Mask.

Old Man’s Face Mask: two halves to fuse (02/03)

The Old Man’s Face Mask is the most involved of the three. You need to find the right half and the left half separately, then combine them at a workbench. Both halves are described as an old man’s face flensed clean and torn along an old scar.

Right Half of a Face in the Waiting Area (1F)

Go to the Waiting Area, also marked as the Examination Room, on floor 1F.

Find the jar sitting on the medical table, solve its lock puzzle, and take the Right Half of a Face.

Left Half of a Face in the Prosthetics building (1F)

Cross the Inner Yard to reach the Prosthetics building. The Left Half of a Face is on floor 1F inside.

Locate the jar resting on the table, solve the lock puzzle, and grab the Left Half of a Face.

Fuse the halves at the Prosthetics Workshop (2F)

Take both halves up to the Prosthetics Workshop on floor 2F and find the Prosthetic Workbench.

Place both halves into the workbench to fuse them. The result is the Old Man’s Face Mask, glued together from the two nearly symmetrical halves.

Head Surgeon’s Face Mask in the Sacristy (03/03)

The final mask is the easiest to collect. It is the entire face of Akeley’s former chief surgeon, peeled and left intact, and no puzzle stands in your way.

Make your way to the Sacristy on floor 1F.

Walk up to the table next to the shelves of jars and pick up the Head Surgeon’s Face Mask directly. That is the last of the three.

How to confirm you have all three

Each mask registers in your key items as a numbered entry, so you can track progress with the 01/03, 02/03, and 03/03 counters. The Old Man’s Face Mask only appears once you fuse both halves at the workbench, so collecting the Right Half and Left Half alone will not complete that slot. Once all three masks read as collected, you have cleared every face mask Chapter 3 has to offer inside the hospital grounds.
