Fortnite: How to Get Loot Hacker Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4

Loot Hacker is the fourth Sprite variant in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, added with the v42.10 update on September 3, 2026. Every Sprite this season has a Loot Hacker version except Mega Man, but only one of them can be earned right now, and it is locked behind a chain of Victory Royales rather than a chest drop.

Quick answer: Win a Battle Royale match to get the base Crown Sprite, then win one match each with the Crown, Cheat Master Crown, and Gold Crown equipped. The fourth win automatically awards the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite.

How to unlock the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite

The Crown Sprite is Mythic and levels up only through wins, so every step here needs a Victory Royale. There is no shortcut through Sprite Dust, quests, or chest luck.

Win any Battle Royale match. The base Crown Sprite unlocks automatically once you take a Victory Royale, and it lands in your collection without needing an extraction.

Equip the base Crown Sprite and win another match with it on your back. That single win takes it from Level 1 to Level 5 Master and hands you the Cheat Master Crown Sprite.

Swap to the Cheat Master Crown Sprite and win with that one equipped. Mastering it unlocks the Gold Crown Sprite.

Equip the Gold Crown Sprite and win one more match. Getting it to Level 5 rewards the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite immediately.

The order is fixed: Normal, then Cheat Master, then Gold, then Loot Hacker. Four wins total if you are starting from nothing.

How to check the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite unlocked

Each variant is granted the moment the Sprite hits Level 5 Master, so the reward appears at the end of the winning match rather than after a delay. Open your Sprite collection and look at the Crown row — the newly earned variant will show as owned and can be equipped straight away for the next step in the chain.

Note: the mastery requirement was reduced after launch. A single win per variant is now enough, where it previously took multiple wins in a row with the same Sprite equipped.

Why the Crown chain does not complete

There are only a couple of ways this goes wrong, and both come down to which Sprite was actually equipped when you won.

Mastering a different Sprite, such as the Adventure Sprite, does not progress the Crown chain — the win has to happen with the correct Crown variant equipped.
Obtaining a Crown variant through trading does not count towards mastery. You still need the win with it on your back.
Skipping ahead is not possible. The Gold Crown is the only variant whose mastery pays out the Loot Hacker version.

Every Sprite with a Loot Hacker variant

Fifteen of this season’s sixteen Sprites have a Loot Hacker version sitting in the collection grid. Mega Man is the sole exception and exists as a Normal Sprite only.

The Crown is the outlier because it levels through wins alone, which is why its Loot Hacker version can be earned on demand. For the rest, the in-game bonus attached to Loot Hacker and the exact unlock condition have not been confirmed.

How the four Sprite variants differ

Normal, Gold, and Cheat Master all work the same way in a match. You find one in a chest, keep hold of it, and extract it before you die or the match ends. Variants are not unlocked separately from the base Sprite — each one is its own drop.

Collecting Sprites in a match with input machine codes

While you grind out the four Crown wins, the Sprite input machines scattered around the island are the fastest way to pad your collection and bank Sprite Dust. These are physical objects in the world — a stack of cars, a rock face, a wooden wall — that accept a directional code and spit out a Sprite.

Drop into a Solo Battle Royale or Zero Build match and land somewhere with a machine nearby. Leave inventory space free so you can carry more than one Sprite at a time.

Gear up first. Opening chests on the way gives you a weapon for the fights that follow and keeps you alive long enough to reach an extraction point.

Walk up to an input machine and enter its directional code. Each machine has its own sequence, and the Sprite it hands over is tied to that code.

Carry the Sprite to an Extraction Point, call down the crate, load it in, and defend the spot until the extraction finishes. You can send several Sprites off at once, and the Sprite Dust payout scales with their level and rarity.

A Portable Sprite Extractor removes the trip across the map entirely, and one costs 2,500 Sprite Dust at the Gizmo console next to any Extraction Point. If you get eliminated while still carrying a Sprite, it does not join your collection and you start the hunt again.

For now, the Crown is the one Loot Hacker Sprite with a confirmed route, and four Victory Royales is the full price. The remaining fourteen variants are in the game and visible on the collection board, but their unlock conditions and bonuses have not been detailed, so there is nothing to grind towards on those yet.
